Good for doodles
It works good for my double doodle, so far it is the best brush I have found

A great brush
This is the best brush I've bought for my dogs. I have 2 large sheepadoodles and they have long coats. They had significant knots in their coats and this brush has made light work of them. For the price this is an excellent brush. It has a nice, comfortable grip.I'll definitely buy more.

Ideal for long, fluffy, double-coated breeds!
I've got a long-haired male Spitz (a Keeshond) and need to brush him constantly to keep his coat in good condition. My old slicker brush has fallen apart, so I wanted a new one. This is fantastic, although I thought it was a bit smaller!Pros:• Long, ball-less teeth• Comfortable to hold handle• Wide brush so covers a good area• Long bristles that don't tug on furCons:• A bit bigger than I expectedI've not heard of the brand before, and they aren't a pet-specific brand, but to be honest the last two bristle brushes I've bought from well-known grooming lines have fallen apart so that goes to show it doesn't always matter!I was a bit surprised when this arrived as I've always had quite small slicker brushes where I primarily focus on grooming behind my boy's ears and down his legs, so a bigger one I wasn't sure would be as precise. I've managed to adapt it to my needs, but it'd be nice if the listing contained more of an idea of how big the brush is.Keeshonds are double-coated breeds, so it's important to brush them thoroughly down to their skin. I usually separate the fur on the opposite way of growth, and then groom his undercoat this way and work my way up. The bristles on this though are so long that it all requires a lot less effort. This brush has been pretty good at getting his loose coat out so far. It is a little bit awkward to around his ears, but on his legs and everywhere else this brush is absolutely perfect. The size has sped up the process considerably, and the bristles are soft and so far I've not had any come loose which is a plus.I've had no issues with snagging or any discomfort from my boy, and I like the ridged handle as it helps me keep a good grip on the brush too. It's fairly comfortable go use continuously and it can handle stubborn fur, and like I said, no breakages as of yet.Overall, I'd definitely recommend this for long-coated breeds, especially double coated ones. The bristles are really long and the fact they don't have balls on is a must for my breed, and I've had no concerns on quality so far. Really like it and it's a great asset to my grooming bag and has made grooming a lot less strenuous!

delivery excellent
I have found this brush quite useful--the dog seems to like it--It was recommended to me by one of this country's top grooming salons! I did purchase one of the other types of dog grooming brush combs A little bit too "vicious" so to speak--for my liking--this brush seems to be more than ok! and the price ok also.

It worked perfectly
This transformed our, usually difficult to brush doodle, from a bit scruffy, to very fluffy, brilliantly. All the other brushes I have bought over the years have now been thrown :)If you’re using short haired brushes, like we’re were, and finding it difficult, to get through the hair, get this brush (then throw your old brush away:)Our groomer told us to get it, as they use it, and they were spot on!

Best brush we've tried
Just great. This brush goes through our long haired GSD's coat really easily and does not pull. We've been able to brush through her fluffy pantaloons and tail really easily and she looks fabulous! She really likes to be brushed with this brush.

Fine so far
Comb your pet gently with this slicker and be patient. It will take time and really is only for loose top coat. I like the size but l think it might be sharp on delicate fur and skin.

The cat didn't care
I was looking into brushes to care for a cat that I looked after. I watched a lot of pet grooming videos and saw that a long slicker brush works wonders on long furry hair while getting brushed out. The cat I had always explored outside. She would stay out until I called her and walked her home. Not sure if she had regular baths because she mostly layed on gravely grounds where the dirt hangs onto her. Thought this would slick her coat to become soft and smooth. Well, she liked the pins, but only to rub her cheeks or chin. Then she would skull off. It may also be that I'm not using it right or it was the wrong type of fur. But it sits in a box on my bedroom floor as I no longer have a long haired pet I could use this on
