Omg! Pain gone immediately.
Talk to your doctor. I was told the course of treatment for an orthotic like this is 1-2 months in conjunction with exercises.I noticed a difference on day 1. I couldn’t believe it when I got out of bed and there was no ice pick in my heel. About 3 weeks in and still no pain at all. I forgot to put it on one night and I had pain in my heel the next morning so I have to keep up with it. I’m going to continue to wear it for a full 2 months. The device is easy to use. I’m a side sleeper that moves around at night a lot. It does not hamper my sleep at all. Just like sleeping in a thin hiking boot. This is my second bout of plantar fasciitis foot pain in the same foot. I so wish I had this the first time around. Best 25$ I’ve spent this year.Edit/update. Month # 4. Still doing great on pain control but if I don’t use it I have symptoms. Beginning to wonder if it helps pain at the cost of impeding healing. Last bout lasted 6 months so I’m not giving up yet.

Great for stretching and relieving plantar fasciitis pain
This Foot brace is lightweight and helps stretch tendons to prevent foot drop that causes the plantar fascia to become exposed and irritated when you walk. I use it at the end of a day when my foot is sore. I also wear supportive sandals during the day to cushion my plantar fascia from impacts. It isn't too difficult to install, but here are some helpful tips we learned from using: When you bend the brace bar on the front, you don't want to bend it exactly to 90 degrees or it will dig into the tendons on the front of your ankle. Once you have bent it, you can put it on, but it is a lot easier to get someone to help you get the right fit, unless you are very flexible! Don't adjust tension strap too tight, as it can end up cutting off circulation to parts of your foot. Keep it on for about an hour to start with. I don't recommend sleeping with it, because at some point it could end up cutting off circulation and you wouldn't be awake to notice. The other thing is consistency, you get better results wearing it 1-2 hours every night. I wear it before going to sleep, when I am reading or chatting with my wife.

Helps and comfortable but bad velcro .
The product works pretty well to help keep the foot in a stretched position. I use it during the day and at night without any discomfort. The problem with the design is that after just about 3 months, the velcro strap around the calf doesn't stay attached. The strap has velcro only on one side so, after it makes the fabric on the other side "fuzzy", the velcro barely holds on. We have to sew a small piece of velcro to the other side, otherwise we'd have to throw it out.A very small adjustment in design would make this a 5 star rating. Hopefully the seller sees the review and adjusts the design.

Too uncomfortable
If you tighten it enough to actually keep your foot flexed up, it puts way to much pressure on the ball of your foot, making it go numb. I tried so many things to help my plantar fasciitis and getting Dr. Scholl's plantar fasciitis shoe inserts was the only thing that helped.

Can also fit large size feet.
I purchased for my husband who is 6’5 at 285 pounds. it has helped his left foot recover overnight or anytime he can relax and wear it after a long day of working on his feet. he is a laborer who works out in the field about 12hrs, 7 days a week. since he is mainly on his feet and most of his weight shifts to his left, he will have extreme pain in his left foot. this works great after soaking his foot in bath salts to help relieve pain or after a nice foot massage with essential oils. my husband wears a size 16 and this splint fits him comfortably.

It works but has some design flaws
I have had this brace for 3 months. I found that when I bent the metal part around a water bottle so the bend was 90 degrees but wasn’t so sharp it worked much better. Before I figured that out I felt like it was causing nerve damage in the top of my foot. The pad part started coming apart after a while so I used some fabric glue on it. There really should be one more strap lower down around your ankle. The only thing keeping your foot from sliding out of the back is the grippy stuff on the bottom of the foot pad. The strap around your leg straps around the wider part of your leg and there is nothing to keep it sliding down to the narrower part. I think the darn thing is getting really stretched out by now because I keep needing to tighten the straps and the narrow cross brace strap has been tightened almost as far as it can go.However while it does have some flaws it is about as comfortable as sleeping in a boot could be. The most inconvenient part is the the strap that goes from the top to the toe because you can’t just sleep with your foot hanging off the end of the bed. That strap is the main thing that makes work right though. It has helped but when it finally gets too stretched out or falls apart I am going to look a model that has fixed some of the problems I am having with this one.

Its a pain
What a pain. This fit nicely, is light weight and relatively comfortable at first.I was only able to wear it 1 full night without it waking me up due to being too uncomfortable. There is a metal plate that you bend when you first get it. It is padded and rests across the top of your foot and up the leg. Over a few days, the plate kinks and puts pressure at the bend of your foot. This put pressure on my nerve and caused significant nerve pain that lasted about a week every time I lifted my big toe. I adjusted the bend again and continued wearing it. It continues to kink over a few days and I continue to reset the bend. Now only two weeks in and the tip of the splint is worn out. See photo. There is a plastic plate inside the material under the foot. It has sharp edges and it didn't take long for it to cut a hole in the material. There's also a pimply plastic pad that your foot rests on, I think for anti slip purposes. I find it uncomfortable. It makes my foot sweat without socks and the pimply surface doesn't feel good on my foot.I've been wearing it as much as I can during waking hours at home for 2 weeks now. My planter fasciitis has not improved.
