Worked great, I put two in every ammo can I have so I can store my ammunition long term in event of a tyrannical government, zombie apocalypse, the second coming, lizard people, man sized wasp that were bread with cow sized spiders, and hunting leprechaun. I've actually never caught a leprechaun before, but do you think if I shot one with my gun Lucky Charms (TM) would explode all over the place?10/10 would buy again.

These arrived as described in well sealed packs of ten. Each package has a pink dot in it. The dot turns blue when you have allowed them to be exposed to air for too long. We find the packs of ten are best for us, because of the time thing. You only have a few minutes to get them into your package and reseal it before they expire. I first bought packs of 100 because it was a “better deal”, but after needing to throw away 50 or 60 because I didn't move fast enough, I decided 10 per pack was a smarter way to go.We use these in mylar bags to seal our freeze dried meals. We also have used them in long term storage bags of rice that we vacuum seal and sealed mason jars.

Okay so I bought a bag of weevil contaminated flour from the grocery store. Didn't know, left on vacation & by the time we got back the weevils were in everything !! All food items that were in cardboard or thin plastic bags were infested so obviously I threw all that stuff out and had to rethink my food storage so this wouldn't happen again.I started freezing food (all dry good, grains,etc) for a week when I brought it home. That's to kill anything that may be alive and hiding in them. Next step is removing food from its original packaging ( Unless it's in a can or glass jar). Weevils can chew through the cardboard and plastic bags.So I bought a bunch of new, airtight food containers. Mostly mason jars. Put the food in there. Then I read how it's possible for weevil eggs to survive the freezer but that if you put them in a zero oxygen environment they will definitely die.That's what led me to try oxygen absorbers. These are working out great so far ! I've only used about 30 but they were all fresh and sealed the mason jars within a few hours. It's been about a month and no seals have failed - not a single one. I'm a believer ! And would definitely recommend using these to anyone

I really appreciate that they are packed ten to a package. It makes it easier to use if you are packing only a limited quantity of items. So far so good in use. Just remember they won’t shrink tight if you pop them in a package. They absorb oxygen from the air not all the other gases that make up the air we breathe. Without oxygen mold can not grow.

Took me a while and some testing to become convinced that these Oxygen Absorbers were working properly. But after extensive testing, I can report that they do the job, and even come with reversible colorimetric oxygen indicators that are very useful if you are saving dry materials in transparent containers, e.g. mason jars, old soda bottles. Contacted vendor, was very helpful too. You should buy these, they will do the job.

Products like these run the gamut of super cheap to outlandishly expensive and it's always a crap shoot as to the quality. I am VERY satisfied with the FreshPackUSA oxygen absorbers I purchased. I especially appreciate that they break them down into small packages within the overall quantity. I've lost multiple dozens of packets before because I couldn't use them quickly enough. Using 10 at a time is much more doable than trying to use 100 just to ensure that they stay fresh. I'll use this vendor again.

Used O2 absorbers in the past without issue (different distributor) but liked how this one packaged in bundles of 10, making things significantly more convenient. HOWEVER, even with the indicator showing no exposure before opening, these never did a thing. They never got warm and certainly never absorbed oxygen from my jars. Waste of money and an afternoon. Terribly disappointed. Guess I'll stick with my other guys.

Got a nice note from the seller apologizing for the delay (slight) because of the coronavirus pandemic. Thoughtful gesture though not needed. I think we all know things are working more slowly now as a new normal sets in.
