Toujours La France!: Living the Dream in Rural France
J**.
A fun escape to rural northern France.
This book was a nice retreat from urban American life! The author writes from her life in an easily approachable way. It is charming and funny, but shows life's challenges and obligations as the real hurdles they are. Overall, satisfying and fun.

Toujours La France: Toujours a Delightful Romp through Northern France
Where Peter Mayle has taken the crown for Provencal writings, Janine Marsh has taken the crown for Northern France's stories. The characters who flow through her books are delightful, insightful, and full of mirth. We just get to go along for a romping good ride! Pure delight!

Makes you feel very envious, get ready to feel jealous
I have to admit, I greedily read the book in one day, sat in the garden wishing I was in France. Janine has perfectly captured and described her French friends that I could walk up to them and say a cheery Bonjour and feel like I know them as she does. You can feel her passion for the French way of life coming through on every page and how well you can fit in if you really want it. Brilliant.

Loved every page!
I've loved all of Janine's books and this is no exception - what a joy to read! I think in fact I'll read them all again:)
