Would give 4.5 due to activity cards but the dinosaurs are so fab I can’t take a star off!
The little boy I work with loves dinosaurs and so I had planned to buy some counting dinosaurs when this flashed up on an offer for me and I am so glad I saw it.The little dinosaurs themselves are so cute, so well made and they look such good quality. I think any school or nursery would be happy with them and equally the children who used them would be too. The bowls provided to sort by colour and the tweezers are also fabulous quality. The activity cards aren’t very well worded and are a mix of American spelling terminology and English. They aren’t very child friendly and although I will use them I will word the questions for the child I am working with as ultimately the Maths questions looking at pattern and number sentences are good. The activity cards also come with a whiteboard pen which I did think was a good little extra!Overall, the quality of the figures won out and I couldn’t take off a star for the wording on cards.

great fun way to count and explore number
The amount of dinosaurs are great for real exploration of number. It included 4 different coloured bowls and two tweezers to help children with their pincer grip to prepare them for pencil grip and control. The children are exploring number without realising it. The cards are of a good quality material but the dinsoaurs don't match in colour to the colours on the card. I think this is quite confusing for children. The pen does write on the cards and it is easy to wipe clean and re-use, however the rubber did fall out straight away. It was easy to push back in but I do think this can be lost quite easily. A paper towel can be used instead though. I really like the learning potential and the children will learn how to use them in Early Years setting so you are encouraging this.

Absolutely adorable set of tiny dinosaurs to stimulate maths explorations
I got these as a gift for a 5 year old boy who loves puzzles because I thought this would be something he’d really find fun and interesting.I have to say, having looked inside the box, I absolutely love these and I know my son (who’s off to uni in a couple of weeks) would have adored them when he was little. The key ingredient is the collection of tiny dinosaurs figures; six different dinos, each a different colour. The little figures are very characterful and cute. There’s also six bowls, in matching colours, two sets of tongs, a collection of ‘challenge cards’ which have a plasticised finish on them so the enclosed dry wipe marker pen can be used on them over and over again. For a child just starting school, the maths and logic games you can play with these are numerous. You can sort the figures by colour, put them into the matching bowls, or arrange them in groups with one of each colour/species in each. The challenge cards set simple maths problems that the child can solve by using the dinosaurs as counters. You can arrange them in patterns and groups. Or you can just play with all the little dinosaurs!I think this is such a great set with which a child can have huge fun while also learning things about maths and logic - and isn’t the best and most effective type of learning the one you have while having fun. I love them!

Great leaning game
My little boy is almost 3 and loves this learning activity game. There are 6 different sets but we went for the 72pcs dinosaur set. It comes with a activity card set, 6 coloured bowls and 2 tongs. My little boy is a little young for doing some of the maths but he enjoys counting the dinosaurs and sorting them into the correct colours using the little tongs. It comes well presented in a nice box and would make a lovely present for any little one.

Great educational toy
This well presented box of dinosaur toys is such a great idea for helping children with their maths. There are twelve dinosaurs of each colour with a corresponding coloured bowl. The dinosaurs are really cute with each colour being a different shape, they are well made, smooth silicon. There is a set of red and blue tweezers for picking the dinosaurs up to place them in the bowls or on the teaching cards. This set is great for most age groups as you can start with counting and sorting , then move onto addition and subtraction.£19.99 at the time of writing this review is an excellent price for this very well made educational toy

My daughter starts school next week so I thought this would be a nice game for her to have so she can get used to doing Math. Looks like it'll be good fun and also a massive bonus that it has a dinosaur theme, as my daughter loves dinosaur 🦖🦕I'd recommend this product

Lovely resource.
Great for Funky Fingers fine motor control skills, basic counting and colour matching. Good quality dinosaur pieces, tweezers and bowls. The activity cards are useful to guide anyone unsure of where to start. Once you get into using these there's loads you'll just naturally make up yourself or the kids will independently make up as they play and explore. It's quite relaxing as a mindful activity just sorting the dinosaurs into the colour coded groups. It all packs away on its box nicely too. Great.
