I like Lume. It took me awhile to getting around to trying it as I had actually been using a different but similarly effective product for awhile by Boscia. I find that with these products, a little goes a long way. Whether from a tube, or from an applicator, the product is creamy. It spreads well, and rubs in nicely. No need to leave it caked, be sure to massage in until it pretty much disappears. With the applicator, when using anywhere than the armpits, add some to finger tips then spread over body parts. I get a funky smell in the leg area when I have been sweaty. I was taking multiple "bird baths" through the day to freshen up, but it never really made a difference. Using a product such as Lume will knock that out. I massage some into leg pits (where legs meet crotch area), around my belly button, butt area, and any spot that I think could benefit from this stuff. I dont use it on my arm pits as I have plenty of deodorant already for that. But it could be used for that. Basically what this is doing is not masking, blocking out odor, but it has components that help eat bacteria causing odor. This is why it is possible that is can be effective for a few days at a time, even with showering. Now, the time frame of how long it works will depend on your body chemistry, your environment, and even what you wear. My clothing isnt all that breathable so that has much to do with the funk smell. Pools of sweat in hot body regions. Yuck. I use Lume (or Boscia), and I am not stinking. I can swipe my finger along my inner leg crease, and my finger just smells like citrus. I'll use this daily for rest of summer, then likely just a couple few times a week going into cool temps. Or maybe I will just use it daily. Little goes a long way, its effective, smells good. No issues. I'll buy this again. The scent is too strong but that's probably where you get the 72 hours. Amazing product though!

Attention ladies suffering from changes in your usual smell thanks to perimenopausal and menopausal hormone changes!! Because the chin hair wasn’t bad enough! The story goes like this…..I’m getting in bed and I’m moving the sheets around etc getting comfy and I smell this smell…like the Lumie lady says lol! Anyway I look at my husband whom I totally know is the culprit and ask if he forgot his deodorant to which he replies, “NO”. Hmmmm could it be me?? No way but I take a sniff anyway and to my surprise, IT WAS MY PITS!!! Horrified! I had never had that smell before. Thanks Mother Nature! This went on every night for a week or two. The deodorant I had used literally my whole adult life was failing my hormonally imbalanced armpits! A search for a new deodorant began. Not only did I need to eliminate that smell, I also wanted to kick the aluminum can out of my deodorant, so I went on a search for something different. I tried Schmidt’s with Charcoal and nope, still stinky, albeit less but still stinky. Then I decided to try Lumie after seeing the “smell that smell” lady over and over on social media. Let me tell you, it worked immediately and for the full 72 hours like she claims! No more Mother Nature smelly pits for me!! I love it! I have been using it for over a month now with no mind boggling odors emanating from myself! Here are my two warnings about the product. 1) it burns if you put it on right after you’ve shaved your armpits and 2) not everyone’s skin can handle it. I bought it for my hubby too and it burned him, made his skin itch and it eventually peeled. So just beware of those things. Otherwise, I am super pleased and no longer have smelly armpits to try to blame on my innocent hubby!

My 10 year old daughter has foot odor so horrific it smells like someone made a plug in air freshener out of cat pee and fermented dorito cheese, with a splash of hot spoiled seafood. If she's in socks and shoes all day, she has to immediately wash her feet and spray her shoes after removal or her feet leave stink stamps on the floor and her shoes quickly become garbage. It started when she was very little, so I'd tell her she was so darn beautiful and perfect it'd be unfair if her feets didn't stink. However, replacing tainted socks and shoes and kids at school noticing were issues. I've tried every wash, powder, spray...nothing works. She us healthy, it's not fungus, just stinky overactive sweat glands on her feets. Enter Lume. I've seen the commercials for years, always been curious. After tossing an expensive pair of shoes that were so horrific her brother gagged (I'm a seasoned nurse...my gag reflex is not a fair gaugen but you could use her dirty shoes as tear gas in a battle) and watching her stepdad sniffing to find and clean everywhere she stepped after removal, I ordered her a stick. I kid you not, my partner sat down yesterday and said "I found a pair of her socks and they didn't smell! They may have even smelled GOOD." He looked shocked and amazed but confused. I sniffed the new pair of shoes I bought after her Lume arrived nearly two weeks ago...they actually smell new with a hint of cucumber mint. That's a far cry from clearing a room just by taking her shoes off. I've since ordered a sample pack, no one has smelly anything, and I myself smell like Peony Rose. After a day where I deep cleaned our whole office, including mopping and scrubbing toilets, and gave over 100 shots, I still smelled like roses. If that's not a testimonial, I don't know what is.
