Excellent kit for tuning and minor repairs
My only complaint is the other tools are a bit flimsy, but the tuner, muters, and felt work wonderfully. Unbeatable for the price

Great tool set
Great item! I'm new to tuning pianos, but this kit seems like it is high quality. I've already tuned my own piano with it and had no complaints about anything. I'm hoping these tools last as long as I think they should.

Pandemic tuning
With the pandemic going on, this was a great purchase. Luckily, the piano wasn't too out of tune, but after some videos and a tuning app, this set was perfect. I like having the star wrench rather than a square one which helps when at the ends of the piano. Great set to start tuning your piano.

Love this kit!!
I immediately opened this piano tuning kit and started using it on my untuned-for 20-years baby grand. I'm elated with the wonderful results! My adult children were visiting and were also thrilled with being able to actually tune the piano! In the "old days" this would not have been possible.Thank you for this incredible product!

Near-professional
My son plays the piano, and tuning can be very expensive. He thought he’d give it a try, so we ordered this kit, after careful research, we selected this one, for a price of just slightly under $60.He was able to do some tuning, but realized he does need a lesson or two, and more careful studying,However he was able to make some slight adjustments. The first three pictures show the nice, sturdy case the tools come in. The 4th, as you can probably tell, is the inside of our piano; I included this so you can see what he’s working with. The 5th picture is a photo of a digital tuner, which is still needed to tune the piano. It’s a free app he downloaded.Pictures 6 and 7 were taken so that we could remember exactly what we had to take apart to access the inner workings. Unfortunately, we didn’t take them first time around, and couldn’t remember what was what when we tried to reassemble. We finally did, THEN took the pictures - so we’ll know the next time. I definitely recommend you take photos of whatever you take apart, especially if it’s the first time tuning a piano yourself. We still need to call the piano tuner, but hopefully he’ll be able to teach him how to fully tune the piano. If you do need a tuning kit, this one really seems to have everything needed, as he saw on the YouTube videos he watched.Recommended.

Immediate success
This tool kit may have more items than I'll ever use, but better to get a complete set with good reviews than to need something else when you're in the middle of it.I've not yet done a full tuning, because most of my piano was still in perfect tune. This piano (six foot grand) is amazing for holding tune, even surviving a move from my folk's home (I picked it out when I was in sixth grade) in the '80s to my own and current home with needing a tune. But the lowest break section (all bass notes with one or two stings, the bottom 26 keys) went out of tune a few years ago. The rest are still flawless. I don't play it a lot, because I have a great digital piano sitting next to me, so getting a piano tuner has been on my "to do" list for a long time. I was talking to a random person at a musical instrument show a few months ago, and we got on the subject of pianos, he encouraged me to tune it myself. While my original plan was to use a tuning program app, after the package arrived I got the thought that I could probably do a quick job of getting just the bad notes in tune, and it would also give me a quick introduction to using the tuning set. Twenty minutes later, I had a beautiful sounding piano again. The 26 notes went pretty quickly, with 10 one-string, and the rest only two.At some point, I'll go through a full tuning to bring the whole thing on concert pitch, but that's not a high priority, since I record with the digital piano. But it's still great to have that nice piece of furniture in the far corner of my office sounding sweet again. It's nice to sit down to a real piano once in a while, especially late at night.

Happy With The Purchase
Had my 1920’s Knabe baby grand professionally tuned but it seemed sharp to me. I purchased the PianoMeter tuning app and it indicated that I was right. I ordered this set of tools and they have enabled me to make the necessary adjustments. There are probably tools in the kit I won’t use, but you never know. Happy with the purchase.
