I gave loved this series for a very long time and I loved this edition of the books. I was very tensed about the books reaching me in good condition after I saw the reviews but I'm quite happy with the packaging and it arrived safely with no damage

This is, hands down, one of my favourite series. And not only that, Percy Jackson is my favourite character (in all forms of media). The series starts off with a bang and there's never a dull moment throughout. It's interesting, it's got heart, great characters, a great story and is absolutely hilarious. AND it has a brilliant ending, which is something you don't always find with series. Rick Riordan has written a series for the ages and I love it. No wonder I got the hardcover boxed set; I knew I would be reading these books many times.

I wasn't at my best before reading percy jacksonand the whole riordanverse.i felt like I needed a change and I decided to glow up.the first thing I did for my glowup was buying and reading this book and IT WAS THE BEST DESSISION EVER It is really good for a 12 year old.it has so many cute characters. Percy is sarcastic and funny,Annabeth is hella brave and badass,grover is the cutest best friend,Nico is dark but sweet,Zoe is also badasd,Thalia is literally a queen Nope these are not spoilers just kinda convincing you to read this YOU'LL NOT REGRET(UNTILL YOU HAVE A BAD SENSE IN BOOKS LMAO)

Just bought the hardcover version and oh boy! I am impressed! The packaging is good! The books are obviously awesome! I just hope they include a bookmark

Poor paper and print quality. Not expected at this price range. Even the box of the box set is of low quality, tore while picking the book for the first time

I was apprehensive about buying these copies from the reviews as alot had damage to the packaging but these came in great condition, good shipping (Australia) The books are all different colours when you remove the dust covers and I just adore them

Die Hauptperson in dieser Buchreihe ist ein Junge, Percy Jackson, der herausfindet, dass er ein Halbblut/Halbgott und ein Sohn Poseidons ist. Er kommt in ein "Ferien-Camp" wo er auf viele verschiedene andere Halbgötter trifft, auf Satyren, Nymphen, Zyklopen und andere mythische Wesen - und stürzt sich mit seinen neuen Freunden in aufregende Quests, um schließlich Olympia vorm Untergang zu retten. Man bekommt viele interessante Informationen über die alten griechischen Götter, die Halbgötter (Perseus, Herkules, ...), die Quests (Goldenes Fließ, Das Labyrinth, ... ) und die "Monster". Und wer sich dafür begeistert ist mit der Serie gut aufgehoben. Ich hab die Box vor nicht mal einer Woche geliefert bekommen und sie innerhalb von 5 Tagen durchgelesen. Das Englische liest sich flüssig und verständlich, und man versteht die griechische Mythology dahinter sehr gut, ohne erst das Wörterbuch zücken zu müssen. Ich persönlich würde die Serie gar nicht mit Harry Potter vergleichen wollen. Okay, man findet einige Parallelen, wie beispielsweise, dass es sich um einen 12Jährigen Jungen handelt, der nicht "normal" ist und sich von zu Hause weg begeben muss (Schule/Camp). Aber wenn man mal durch die Bücherläden schlendert, wird man wohl noch einige solcher Storys finden. Doch im Gegensatz zu HP handelt es sich hier nicht um #erfundene Magie", sondern um eine tolle Geschichte mit "wahrem mythologischem" Hintergrund. Und zu Schluss möchte ich noch loswerden, dass dieses Buch nicht nur für Kinder und Jugendliche lesenswert ist, sondern auch für Erwachsene, die sich für Fantasy, Mythologie und Harry-Potter-ähnliche-Romane begeistern.

The quality is very good! I really recommend you buy it! I read once in Portuguese now I just wanted to read again but in English. The delivery was quiet careful, but it could be better.
