I wasn’t overly impressed when using for a mosquito bite. Didn’t seem to have much effect. However, today my 3 year old was stung by a wasp. I grabbed this tool immediately and suctioned 10-15 times since I wasn’t confident I was using it right. Within 10 today minutes he’d stopped crying and was unbothered. Within 2 hours the stings were barely noticeable!!

I really wanted this to work. I get bit like crazy every year. Reading the description it makes basic sense although I was questioning how well it would actually suck out the poison but I figured I would give it a try for the price. A day after getting it I got bit up on both my knees. I got back home and used this on both knees. I pumped it up as tight as it would go and it had really good suction. I held it there for probably 30 seconds. I repeated this at least 10 times on each knee thinking I'd really make sure. You can't see anything liquid wise coming out of the mosquito bite but I figured the toxins were probably so little you just couldn't see it. After removing it everything felt great and I thought oh my gosh it actually works. A handful of hours later both my knee started itching like crazy. Since that initial test I've tried it a handful more times on other bites. I used the product sometimes minutes after getting bit so it's not like I left it alone too long. It makes the itch go away just from the suction for a small period of time but ultimately it doesn't suck anything out of the mosquito bite. Not a huge loss because of how little it cost but it's a complete gimmick unfortunately.

I never leave reviews but just had to on this one as it's made my life in Georgia from March to October actually bareable! All this thing does is gives your bites a hicky... sucking out the juice that your body's immune system is fighting. Super simple idea and it works well, but you should ignore the instructions. Instead, do the following: 1. Orient the cap so it has the smallest nozzle 2. Center the bite in the nozzle and push down real hard so there's a good seal with your skin (try and orient your body to keep the thing vertical so you don't accidentally break the seal) 3. Pump the thing like ten times so you can really feel it pinch 4. Hold it for ages, like 30 seconds 5. Repeat steps 2-4 as necessary 6. Come back and like this review to give me an endorphin high that helps keep me off social media :) Side note: you may be wondering why you can't just use a large syringe but this thing has a small check (one-way) valve which means you can really pump it up to the point that you can let the handle go and it will stay on your skin (not that you particularly should do this, just making the point that you make a better seal this way than with a syringe that you'd have to constantly apply force to).

I was pumped to try this out- I swear mosquitos have a sensor to know when I'm near. I have been pleasantly surprised that it actually works!!! Unfortunately, it doesn't work well for our kids. They don't like the sensation and they are a little too small to get a good suction.

Don't save a buck and buy the Original Bug Bite Thing. I thought...well it's just a PVC pipe, what could be so different? The EZ bite relief is designed to look like the original one, however, there is a difference - this version has a metal spring inside. Now, that should be an improvement....Nope. The spring does make it so you don't have to push the plunger back down since it'll go down on its own. However, because there is a spring, there is a gap, a small one, and air leaks through. Thus, the suction loses its' strength in 10 seconds. It is just not as strong as the original one. I have to do multiple pulls just to get the same result from the original bug bite thing. Does it still work? Kinda...if you never used the original one, this will work... Save that dollar, and spend it on the original Bug Bite Thing.

As someone who's allergic to insect bites, I've been used to apply baking soda, lotions and ice. But this item is a game-changer! I was skeptical, but it actually works. It's an easy way to suction out the poison or toxin left by the insect! I have recommended it to friends and will always have this easy-to-use device on hand.

Maybe I shouldn't have been cheap and bought the generic imitation one of these because this thing doesn't work at all. I'm able to make it get what seems like good suction, yet it didn't help at all! Still itching like crazy! It's a piece of junk waste of money! I guess I'll have to splurge and go all out by ordering the original one of these that's made by the actual inventor who pitched this idea on Shark Tank. I guess you get what you pay for. Sucks! And I'm past my return window since I ordered sitting the winter when there are no Mosquitoes. I get Skeeter Syndrome whenever I get a Mosquito Bite (it's a real thing; look it up) so I sell l swell up badly & it's itches so unbearably bad! It wakes me up at night with the insatiable urge to itch! So I had high hopes for this contraption! Don't waste your money!

This tool has already helped me with wasp sting, my husband used the tool to get the poison out of my bites, it is very cool. It is a great product and it's kid friendly. There is no creams or chemicals, just suction; Compact, lightweight, easy to carry, and reusable. I highly recommend the EZ Bite Relief because it really works.

No matter what anyone’s else says, this thing works. Mexico mosquitos are no joke. Soooo itchy. This helped to use it right after a bite.
