I took in a cat back in April. I found out later she was pregnant. I think she was wary of any human or other animal due to probably living outside all her life( a guess, she was hanging around a neighbors property for a couple months, at least. The neighbors dogs were not fond of her! Well, I thought between the vet and I, we would both be eaten alive! I went home and immediately purchased these. They definitely work. She bit at the gloves multiple times when I would need to pick her up or move her. She is now 2 weeks post kittens. Unfortunately, all kittens did not survived beyond 48 hours. She is still with me. I didn't give up on her. She still will bite if given the chance, but I am learning her cues to avoid her drawing blood! Definitely a good buy and still stay close to me. My only complaint is the glove when worn really holds heat and gets warm very quickly. I'll live with it over being bit!

These gloves are very thick and durable. They protected my hands from feral kittens. As a female with small hands they are very large and it is hard to feel what I am grabbing but they protect you from bites and scratches!

I'm a professional dog groomer, I own my salon and work solo, so safety precautions play a big part of my day. I work with lots of dogs with reaction/aggression issues. First time I wore these I was working on a Shi-poo, she hates her face being done and will go to bite full force without warning. The gloves did exactly what they should and protected my hands/arms. She did bite hard enough that she broke my nail through it (I have gel dip nails, professionally done the day before), but had I not been wearing them she would've taken my whole finger off. 5 stars all around.

I was torn between four and five stars, because this is very thickly made, sturdy leather that seems well made and will protect you firmly. But it's also thick and makes your hands so clumsy, it will be hard to handle any animal with them on. So it will depend on your uses, I would definitely prefer these when working with rough dogs than with a cat or reptile. But it is thick, and well stitched, I don't doubt this would protect you. Even from snakes, I think the fangs would not get in. These are essentially like welding gloves, and come a good way up the forearm. While I don't know if I will use this to help rescue the feral cat around as I intended, they are solid gloves. It also came with a little chew toy.

They're just welding gloves that go up to your elbow but the price is very reasonable compared to if you go to a weld shop they're less than half the price I mean even if I was going to use it on my welder I would buy these again just to weld way cheaper than regular road gloves
