I Can Hear You Now
When we recently moved into our new home with Spectrum/Charter DSL service our 4 phones (1 base station, with 3 wireless extensions, all had a Major Static Problem. I plugged one DSL Splitter into the back of Spectrum's box, and the phone line into it . . . No More Static Problem.

Good quality & easy to install.
Replaced a splitter similar to the new one. New one seems to better quality than the one I replaced.

Disappointed in quality and performance
One of the adapters did not work at all and the other slowed our internet connection from 50 Mb/s to 7 Mb/s. Removing the adapter resulted in our internet connection to run at 50 Mb/s again. I did these test within minutes of each other, so I know it was for sure the adapters.

Filters too much DSL signal
Phone line started buzzing after a storm, and since I'd had problems before with DSL filters being roasted by lightning, I ordered this. When I received them, I tried one. It didn't help the buzzing and dropped my DSL signal/speed, though I thought something else I did at the phone box may have caused that. After telco repair fixed the buzzing, I still had the reduced DSL signal/speed. Since I had kept the old filter (telco issued) I replaced, as a last resort, I tried it again. DSL signal/speed went back to previous levels. I didn't try every splitter/filter in the order, but the one I did dropped the download speed from 7104000 bits/sec with a 14.5 SNR to 5280000 bits/sec with 8.5 SNR. The other filters in the order may work perfectly, but the one I tried didn't.

Did not work for Telkom
It did not work. When I pick up the phone or it rings, the ADSL line drops and loses sync. I do live in South Africa so maybe that's the issue. Threw them in a drawer and forgot about them. Had to go to Telkom, the phone company and buy different, name brand ones at much higher costs but at least they work.
