It’s well made and it works, but it’s not smooth
I think this is truly for only what it says it’s for. Which is great! However, I’m creating metal art and must varnish and seal after painting. This particular patina paint is very grainy and makes it tough to get the smoother finish I was going for. It could be my fault for not reading the fine print, however if you’re mainly reading the reviews: Great paint; pretty grainy.
