I am a professional seamstress and tailor. I also have ME/CFS. I really wanted this to help take the effort out of cutting so I can use that energy somewhere else. It works great! I cut stretch velvet, wool cashmere, midweight cotton. Everything cut great. Control is great. It was super easy to see my pattern markings and follow those guide lines while cutting. It is very precise! This absolutely exceeded expectations. It is loud though. Not screaming loud but it is worth noting. I think this would be great for people with mobility issues or who are arthritic or anybody who just wants a speedy low effort cutting tool. I'm a bit annoyed with the branding of "power tools for women". Last I checked you didn't need an outie to operate machinery. Would totally recommend this.

These have streamlined my sewing! I cut a lot of fabric for sewing and other crafts. These scissors cut through multiple layers of fabric seamlessly. It took a little time to get the hang of anchoring my fabric so it doesn't move while cutting. As fast as these work, I found that it's easier to take time and move slowly along the cut line. I like to hold the fabric with a book (or something similar) on one side while pulling the fabric taut with my other hand. This provides a straight seam for theses scissors to cut. I can also cut open boxes and cardboard. This little gadget is magical; it cuts through everything! These are fairly loud, but this does not bother me at all. I haven't used them long enough to feel I need to oil them, but wouldn't be afraid to use a little sewing machine oil to keep them running smoothly. I'm totally impressed, and feel they're worth the cost if you're going to be cutting a lot of fabric.

I purchased this cutting tool a few days ago. I am planning to make a bunch of potholders for Christmas presents this year. This means lots of fabric cutting. I was skeptical about this tool but after using it, I am totally impressed!! It has to be one of the best sewing tools I have ever purchased. It cuts the fabric like butter. I was able to cut through EIGHT layers of cotton batting with no issue. EIGHT! Seen in my picture, you can see how many squares of batting I had to cut. Took me less than 30 minutes, a task that normally would have taken forever and left me with a sore hand.My only complaint is that this thing is loud as heck. It sounds like my husband's Milwaukee multi tool. But you know what, I deserve to have loud annoying power tools too!!If you have a need to cut large quantity of fabric, this is the tool for you.

Love this! It’s a comfortable size and fit for my hand. Extremely easy to use, very fast and efficient for cutting fabric specifically. There’s some decent safety features as well to keep hands and fingers safe during blade changes. Very happy with what I got for the price. :)

It has a great motor and go get em attitude. It does cut thru most fabrics well. The battery life has been great so far. Has had it for about 4 months and use it all the time.

i love my new electric scissors. easy to use. they cut through the fabric like butter.but no where is it mentioned how loud they are. i would like to know if I need to wear ear protection? my dogs run for the door to get outside away from the loud noise. i live beside a busy freeway and so you can imagine how loud these are if they bother my ears and my 2 dogs.i purchased them to use for cutting rag strips for crocheting rag rugs. i don't have to use all kinds of muscle to push down on a rotary cutter. no expensive 'self healing' mats to replace. no cotton fibers flying around to get in my eyes from tearing the strips. i mark my strips with a chalk wheel and then i cut. usually the scissors cut through 4-6 layers at a time. works wonderfully and i have shared this on my social crafting site.it's just the noise that concerns me. i am careful to not use them before 9 am or after 9 pm. i don't want the neighbors complaining. it is open window season with the beautiful spring weather.

These are the best fabric cutters I have ever used. So powerful and fast! I love them. My right thumb is arthritic, so I wanted something strong and easy to use--this is it! 5 stars, absolutely recommend.
