These are decent though not the best. We didn’t experience the chipping that one of the reviewers had. However, they aren’t well sharpened so that took some effort before we could use. They are aalso a bit small so you don’t have as much leverage as with bigger knives.3 stars for the knives and an extra star for the great price. Overall a decent set to keep around as spares. Really shouldn’t expect top quality at this price range.

I bought these figuring I will be good for a while since shuckers do get "tipped" (broken) every so often. This four pack didn't last a weekend at my job, my co-worker broke one of them, and i broke the other three within the first 50 oysters that I shucked using these horrible shuckers. Not only did I waste my money, but I ended up still having to use them since I didn't think I needed any sort of backup plan when I go into work with FOUR of these. I ended up hurting my elbow so bad that I couldn't use them while in my hand and had to resort to a table top method and re-learn how I open oysters to stop my elbow from hurting. My job is already high stress enough since oysters is just one of the many tasks I gotta balance while on the line. That night after working an 11 hour shift I had to use the side of my whet stone to try to reform the point on two of them, which dug away at my stone as well. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH 12$ TO GO THROUGH ALL OF THIS. I doubt I will get a refund but I am going to try for one anyways. As you can see in the picture i tried to shape back two of them, but they weren't working as well as I first got them since the point was greatly diminished.

Bought these in a pinch for an event, figured they were a good buy for such, as I only really needed them the one time and they were so cheap. The one time is all they were really good for. One broke immediately. I think we still have 2 of them in use, but do not buy for long-term. They are a great example of getting what you pay for.

Not the best oyster knives I've used, but they work pretty well. The handle is a bit small for me.

Great little oyster openers.We do oysters almost every weekend and have had these for a few months. I dont regret the purchase at all. These are great!

Two of the four pairs broke on the first oyster I was trying to open. And by broke I mean the metal snapped off inside the oyster. This are crap. I didn’t even try the other 2. Just trashed them.

I gave this one star because the moment we tried to open one oyster, the tip broke. There are other brands much more durable. This could be closer to a clam shucking knife than an oyster shucking knife.
