Well made sturdy construction.
I bought a couple of these boxes to fill with seashells for some children. While lightweight, they were sturdy enough to be filled with a good amount of shells and had well fitting clasps to close and stay closed. Perfect size and would order these again.

Exactly What I Expected
I’m using this to replace an old, worn out, cardboard box for vintage board game pieces. I especially like the hinges and the fastener on the lid. My wife thinks I should “finish” the box with stain and varnish, but I like the raw wood look. The box arrived promptly and was in excellent condition because it was packed well.

"Buyer Beware"!!!
When I ordered 1 as a test it came and was fine. So I ordered 8 more (Part of xmas gifts) ALL needed repair. First Amazon shipped them in a bag instead of a box as soon as I saw that I knew there would be an issue. But the reality is the the product itself was just crap. None of the screws would actually tighten down. Two hinges just were snapped apart. This is really cheap cheap cheap stuff. My guess is 90% of the ones you see on Amazon at this price point is just pure cheap crap. The funny part is that some of these were wrapped broken so they came from the manufacturer knowing they were broken. The snapped hinges in one case was not in the packaging so you know that it was shipped knowing it was broken. Will try to send the absolutly worse ones that can not be fixed sent back. No pride at all in work any more.

Not the size it said it was
the box is super cheap.... NOT the size it said it was, i wanted to use this a cigerette box, i measured the cigs and ordered a box that they would fit in, its not the siize it said, about 1/4" to short...... I should have known better, cheap junk!!!!

Poor quality
Bought to make a jewelry box for my 2 1/2 yr old granddaughter. After receiving it, realized it wouldn’t hold up and was too small.
