ECOS Dishwasher Detergent Sheets with Rinse Aid, Plastic-Free Packaging, 45ct, Liquidless

I really wanted to like this product as we are trying to reduce the use of plastic (yes I know there's a some plastic in the sheets, like with laundry sheets but it ships in cardboard and doesn't have an individual wrapper on each sheet.) In our situation, using a full sheet the suds never washed out after a full cleaning cycle. It was like the Lucy show, so much suds! We then tried using just a half-sheet and that left our glasses and dishware not looking clean. We finally just threw the last of it in the trash. I would not buy again and would not recommend. Sorry ECOS, try again.

By using the directions as according to the package, a full sheet folded 4 times causes the dishwasher to over sud. However, I found by cutting the sheet in half and then half again ant then half again to make 8 small squares and then placing them in the soap drawer in the dishwasher, there was no over sudsing and the dishes came out sparkling clean better than Cascade.

Edit: I had to come back and change this to 1 star. I've been trying to pre-rinse my dishes every evening so that I can use the remainder of the sheets, halved, but they do nothing. The dishes look dirtier when they're done. Looks like I'll be throwing the rest of these expensive bubbles in the trash :(. I still use my old detergent sporadically and it cleans really well, so it's not my dishwasher. It's these sheets. :/I wanted to like this product because I love Ecos and I was excited about a plastic-free option. But it produces way too many suds for my dishwasher to handle. Luckily mine doesn't overflow like I'm now seeing from other reviewers, but when the cycle is done the dishes are still covered in suds. I've been running an extra rinse cycle immediately after the usual cycle and that has worked, but it's silly to have to use an extra step every day when all the other detergents I've used have worked just fine. I tried a half sheet and the dishes rinsed clean, but many of them were still dirty.I don't plan to reorder. But I'm still excited about a plastic-free format -- please try again, Ecos!

I bought these in an attempt to use cleaner cleaning products in my home. These sheets don’t work well at all. Half of my flatware comes out of the dishwasher with food still on it. You basically have to wash your dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. If you don’t food will be crusted on. Coffee cups also don’t clean well with these sheets. Very disappointed in these sheets. Will not purchase again

I am always trying to find a "better" way to make less impact on our environment. I've had great success with laundry soap strips and other Ecos products. But this didn't work with my High HE dishwasher your gel works wonders and I will continue to use that.I had so many bubbles with the strips that I had to run my empty dishwasher 4 times with vinegar to get the suds out. I even went as far and re trying to use half, then a quarter of the strips and still had way to many bubbles. (Which my repair man says bubbles in your dishwasher are the worst thing for your seals.)So I will continue to use the Ecos gel, and wait to see if there are any improvements on the strips.

I wanted to love these eco friendly dishwasher sheets but after using them for over a month, they are consistently not getting our dishes clean. I constantly have to re-wash due to dishes still being dirty after washing them. I love the concept though and hope they revise the formula. They are also made in China for those who care.

I buy products that are eco friendly with minimal and recyclable packaging. This fits that well and also does a great job getting our dishes clean and leaves ko soap residue.
