These are awesome, and very easy to use!

This tool is one of those items you need to have before you need it. I have done complicated cuts using paper templates. With this tool you can make one in seconds. I like this one since it base the ability to connect several for longer lengths. It has a higher price point compared to others on Amazon but with this one you are able to link more together something the cheaper ones are unable to do.Thank you for taking the time to read my review of this product. If you are tired of trying to measure using pencil and paper odd angles or shapes and then cut wood or worse yet, just estimating, it is time to graduate to a contour gauge (also called a profile or shaping gauge). This tool is very easy to use and produces surprisingly accurate measurements. You can measure an irregular surface or angle with this and easily trace that on to wood, tile, plastic, or metal to be cut. It is 10" long so you can measure short and wider surfaces. The teeth width is about 1/16" wide so you can be fairly accurate in the measurements you make.If you need a contour gauge longer than 10", you can get more than one of these and connect them together. This particular gauge is a bit pricey, but the quality is good enough not only for a do-it-yourselfer, but also handy-people and carpenters.
