Innovative idea!
First let me start off by saying that I have been a pour-over coffee drinker for a long time now. However, this isn't always feasible when you have a party or family in town and need to make a pot or two of coffee. I found this coffee maker that states it has a Bloom feature (it does!) so I thought I would try it. First, it was well packaged and the machine looks great! It comes with a reusable filter (love that!) and a coffee scoop! The instruction booklet is easy to understand and really nice. Like, it's a legit booklet printed on nice paper. I appreciate these little things. When starting to brew a pot, I had my only issue. The wheel that spins around to soak all the grounds gets in the way of the final water pour. I just wish it hinged back a little more so I could keep pouring from lower down instead of having to pour from up high and potentially getting water everywhere. The Bloom feature worked and the coffee tastes so good. Trust me, there is a difference when you can Bloom your coffee. I'll be happy to use this coffee pot when I need to make coffee for everyone that visits!

Worth Every Penny
I have always used cheap drip coffee makers for all of my 50 years of coffee drinking. Recently I started buying expensive coffee and grinding my own. I realized that I had a liking for "high end coffee" so I started looking at better coffee pots. I stumbled across Vinci and I am glad I did. This pot makes a consistently good pot of coffee. I read the reviews and most down-grades were learning how to pour the water into the reservoir. Since my pot is not under a cabinet, it is relatively easy. The coffee is hot and tasty every time I brew a pot. As an added bonus, it also looks pretty nice. I have turned some of my friend on to my great tasting coffee and they too are impressed.

Makes GREAT coffee, but weird!
This makes excellent tasting coffee, better than any other drip coffee maker I've had, but it has a lot of weird features/flaws. -2 buttons to push to make the soaker coffee method, they both glow in bright blue or red, depending on whether they're activated. Annoyingly bright to me. -Warming element is too hot. Coffee left in the pot tastes burnt pretty quickly. I turn off the pot after brewing and microwave any left over. -It is hard to add water because of the soaker ring. You can only pour the water in in a very specific position. -I can't pour coffee without a little spill. The shape of the pot, or something, always spills a few drops. -The lid on the pot is not removeable. -It's a pretty big appliance for a countertop. I only keep using it because the coffee it makes is so darn good. Otherwise, it's a PITA.

The BEST cuppa java *ever*!!
I've been drinking coffee (military/civilian/restaurant) for close to half a century now, from all manner of makers, and the Vinci, by far, makes the *best* cup of coffee I've ever had. Smooth, not bitter, full of flavor! The difference between the old MrC and the Vinci is amazing - same brand of coffee, same filtered zerowater - astounding results! I've always wondered why drip coffeemakers didn't dispense/disperse water more thoroughly, and now that question has been answered. I did, at first, use the mesh screen filter that comes with it, but that left a lot of stuff in the carafe. A switch to unbleached cone filters fixed that issue. The unit is reasonable cost, arrived in good time and shape, and the style (simple/art deco'ish) suits my decore very well, the small footprint suits my counter well too. No fancy schmancy stuff, it simply makes *great* coffee. I absolutely recommend!!

Do not recommend.
Needs cleaning words never go off the screen. Drips every time you pour your cup. Hard to fill water reservoir. Regret purchase and now can’t contact seller.

Best Coffee Maker
I consider myself a coffee enthusiast so needless to say, I was so excited when I learned about the Vinci RDT coffee maker. This machine did not disappoint! My Sunday morning coffee has never tasted better. I could not believe how smooth and rich my coffee could taste at home. My keurig has been set aside to make room for this dream machine. Not only does it make the perfect cup of home brewed coffee, it is beautiful and sits so nicely on my kitchen counter. It is quiet and programmable so I set myself up the night before and wake up to freshly made coffee. The Bloom feature is amazing and definitely sets this coffee maker apart from all the rest! I am going to let all my friends know about my awesome discovery!

It makes coffee
it makes coffee. I was hoping with the rotating head, bloom and temperature it would be a little better than drip and closer to pourover, but I am finding just the opposite. I understand there could be an adjustment period, but so far the coffee is much weaker than my old maker (drip) so I find myself adding more coffee each day just trying to get some taste. The design is such it is hard to pour water into the reservior, the spinning head is in the way. I always spill water. And the carafe drips when you pour from it, I am still trying to figure out how to stop that.

the plate for the carafe has stripped
I love the flavor. Best coffee ever. For that reason I would recommend it. I also like the automatic turn off. To be clear the bloom button does not have an automatic shut off which is weird. I cant leave for work without checking that button is off. The blue light showing the lunit is off is a good feature. The issue I have with the the carafe is removing it after brewing is complete. I have to wait at least 5 minutes or it drips on to the plate. Ive only wiped the plate with water on a sponge of paper towel but its now stripped.
