I have a small repair shop and bought three of these. I had to return one of them because the home button didn’t work. The adhesive the screen comes with isn't sufficient on it’s own. You will need additional adhesive to keep the screen from lifting up, but that is pretty common. Definitely pre-bend the home button cable before installation to prevent crimping or pinching on all ipad 4 digitizer replacements, and then test the device before applying your adhesive to make sure your home button is working correctly. The company and Amazon are good with returns and replacements which is important when choosing repair parts.

The kit is very complete with all tools necessary to do the job. Let me just say this is the first screen replacement I've done on an iPad but also I am very good with repairs in other experiences. The actual housing and button feels OEM. The adhesive appears to be good quality. The touch screen is responsive though doesn't appear to have any coatings as it doesn't glide as smooth as OEM and not very smudge proof. The biggest problem with this digitizer however is that it has a dot matrix and in addition, lines across! It is visible screen off and even more so when on.

No funcionó mi táctil la Instalacion fue bastante simple a pesar que no trae las toallitas para borrar las marcas de los dedos, pero bastante sencillo al instalarla por completo e eliminar los protectores que trae en la pantalla la encendí y no funcionó el táctil no hace ningun tipo de movimiento así que para mi solo 1 estrella pues no funcionó! La pega que trae no sirve para nada nunca pego totalmente despegada

After install the left side of digitizer gets too hot, over 106 degrees measured by thermometer. This is painful to touch and hold plus the adhesive does not keep the glass connected to backing which is likely because of the heat problem. I am concerned to keep using it as it may damage other components. I also had trouble with the home button cable connection, and this means home button does not work.

Easy to install and arrived on a good schedule. But, a month in and the screen backlight is failing. I can actually see the individual lights and the shadows they are not covering. I rate it as a defective screen and I image as they are "out of stock" I will not have luck with any exchange...

It’s okay and easy to install but the adhesive is not good enough.

Ended up with a couple of bubbles

First one came broken because the mailman stuffed it in the box. I can't blame him because there were no fragile stickers. Second one was perfect and works great.
