I wanted a glass teapot to boil my ginger in for tea. This product was perfect! So beautiful to see the ginger boil! The stopper keeps the ginger from pouring out with the tea and also allows for a mess free pour. This teapot is fragile so I suggest always handling with care. It is glass after all. I've had for about two months now and haven't had any issues. Highly recommend for tea drinkers!

My husband is from Central Asia, and grew up drinking loose-leaf tea. I spent a few years over there, as well, and like tea. We still have our metal, water kettle and porcelain tea pot that we used when we lived over there, but, got out of the habit of using them. We saw a "fancy-schmancy" tea pot like this while visiting Central Asian friends, recently. The wife liked that her basket went so far down so if she wasn't filling the pot up very full, the tea in the basket could still steep. I don't think I would have thought of that. So, when we got home from our trip, I started looking for tea pots similar to hers. We settled on this one. WE LOVE IT! THE BASKET GOES ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM SO YOU CAN FILL IT UP AS LITTLE AS YOU WANT AND THE TEA WILL STILL REACH THE WATER. I cannot attest to how it performs on a stove top, as I have an electric, rapid boil kettle to heat the water which I then pour into here. If it breaks of stops working and pisses me off, I'll update and let you know, but so far, I'm super stoked and use it all the time. *I also love the little, wire swirl that fits into the spout. I originally thought it was silly and unnecessary, but, it's genius! It makes the liquid pour out perfectly, and drip free every time!

I make tea - a lot - and I need a large teapot and I only like glass teapots so my option have been limited to Mono or Grosche teapots. So happy I tried this pot - very reasonable price - holds plenty of tea- light weight , great location of the spout and has an unconditional guarantee for 18 months!!! Perfect for anyone who regularly makes tea for a group of tea drinkers or anyone who likes enough tea when guests arrive. Would definitely recommend and I'll buy a second one for sure!

I have gently used this teapot for almost 2 months and had no issues and have loved it. Today I was making my tea, lifted it off of my cooktop when it was done and the entire bottom broke cleanly off with no warning! Spilling boiling herbal tea everywhere!I’d also love to hear from seller or manufacturer, as my return window has closed via Amazon.UPDATE: the seller did quickly reach out and offered a full refund. I appreciate that they stood behind their product after the Amazon return window closed. I’m hoping that my product was just one with a defect, and since I was refunded, I feel comfortable purchasing again. Other than this incident, I was really happy with the teapot.

I fill it in the morning with one tea bag and use it all day. Its easy to clean and does not drip when poured out (I use the metal addition that fit in the spout but it is also OK without it).

Using for mulled cider. Works great. The little wire gizmo for the spout is surprisingly handy. I thought I'd end up tossing that piece but glad for extra straining ability. Largest size I could find. Recommend

I purchased this to make thai iced tea at home. For that purpose, the infuser does not work well. It doesn't hold enough tea leaves for the pot size and the holes in the infuser seem to limit its affect as well. May work great for other teas, but thai iced tea in particular needs a lot of tea leaves for a given amount of tea.I didn't think much about the glass material before purchasing, other than that it looked nice. In hindsight glass it not a great insulator and I wish I purchased an insulated teapot instead.
