For 10 plus years they would only eat seed and wouldn't touch pellets. I've kept trying to introduce pellets over the years and again tried with this one. Now they completely ignore the seed! It's insane. These pellets are all I feed them now, no seeds. I mixed in some other pellets with these, and they won't touch them. They'll scream for food even though there's the other pellets left in their food bowls. Next time I won't mix any other pellets in. Compared to other pellets, these are a great value.

The cockatiels love it, and it is a definite for supplementing their seeds that they love. It's always in the cage and they eat it willingly.

My birds are picky picky picky eaters, they loveee seeds. Finally got some pellets and they didn't go for it, tried another brand, same result. Even though this brand was out of my price range, I had to try it, both wet and dry. They took to it faster than the other brands and so, to stretch my dollar, I mixed all the previous pellets together with it, sure enough THEY WERE LITERALLY PICKING OUT THIS BRAND and leaving the others. Pros...they are eating pellets/ cons....it's gonna cost me 😱

Psittacus is made to very stringent EU standards, and is all non-GMO. Of all the available natural colored pellets (because I won't feed artificially colored pellets) available in the US, Psittacus as a brand has the most Vitamin A and beta carotene of any pellet brand; most parrots in captivity are Vitamin A deficient, and beta carotene is converted to Vitamin A in the bird's body. Yes, there is soy in it. There is also soy in every single other pellet out on the market too (Harrison's, Kaytee, Pretty Bird, Mazuri, Roudybush, Zupreem, HIggins, Lafeber, and Hari - except the Alternative which zero of my birds would eat...and Top's). At least with Psittacus it is non-GMO. If you aren't familiar with the EU food laws, you should check them out. Far more stringent that in the US, and even more than Canada's. All the food is made in Spain, where Psittacus has been leading nutrition in Europe too (and I compared European pellet composition too!), and shipped to the US. All the bags are super thick and durable mylar-type bags, so your bird's food is fresh when it arrives to you. I have a large number of adult rescue birds who have arrived in poor health, weight, and with bad nutrition on top of it all. They are all in lovely feather, with healthy skin/beaks/nails, and Psittacus is a definite factor in their improved health; the best pellet on the market still has to be eaten for it to help, and that is not a problem with 20/10 Microspheres! These are small pellets and smell naturally fruity, not fake. They can be served dry, or mixed 2 parts pellets to 1 part cold water, and the pellets will absorb the water but retain their shape and not turn to mush. My birds like them both ways, which makes it a versatile food. I can serve it as a dry addition or snack, or I can add it to fresh chop, soaked seed, or cooked foods and the Microspheres absorb water out of the foods so things are not soggy. I love these to keep food interesting (enrichment), I love them for baby birds learning to eat on their own (hydrated), ailing birds, birds with beak deformities, and for traveling too. Your bird can stay better hydrated once you have soaked these, and get nutrition on the trip, but also not make a big mess everywhere. My avian veterinarians love Psittacus. I trust my beloved flock to Psittacus, and I have seen the results over the past year I have been feeding it. My birds like it, they look great, their lab work is great, and they don't waste it. My review won't show up as a verified purchase because I buy direct normally through Psittacus USA where the entire product line is available.

Il mio calopsite non ha apprezzato subito dato il forte odore, ma poi costretto gradualmente ad integrarlo lo ha mangiato. Ho notato molta più vitalità e un colorito delle piume più lucido (serve qualche mese di tempo). Non so se grazie a questo mangime ma è anche molto vitale lui, forse anche troppo (è diventato molesto)

Recomendable, ya que ayudas que tú compañero/a este bien de salud. Le encanta a mi agaporni se más de 10 años, aparte de salir de la jaula, está súper enérgico y fuerte.
