Compact size. Useful PoE source switch
There was some confusion in the reviews here which did not differentiate between the mains-powered switch and the PoE-powered switch.I bought both, so hopefully this clarifies the differences. The TEG1105P-4-63W 5 port switch is very compact, and uses a mains power source (supplied) to provide up to 58W power to four PoE ethernet ports letting you add PoE to your non-PoE LAN, which connects via the 5th port. The TEG1105PD is a similar 5 port PoE switch but is powered by PoE from the 5th (input) port. This does not have its own mains power supply, so must be connected to an existing PoE LAN (or e.g. the TEG1105P-4-63W if you are starting from a non-PoE LAN.)Both switches provide power on a reducing availability basis, so you plug your highest power hungry device into port 1, and what power is left from the total is then available to ports 2-4, then 3-4 gets whatever is left after port 1 and 2 are satisfied until there is no power left, so how many devices you can connect and power is dependant on how much each device uses, up to the total 58W limit. If you connect a non-PoE device to a port, it's power allocation is simply passed on to the next port(s).Both switches have a "VLAN" mode switch which lets you allow or prevent the connected devices talking to each other via the switch without going via the connected LAN core switch(es). These are very compact devices and so far have performed well straight out of the box.No problems since installation about a month ago.

Compact PoE switch that has worked flawlessly, in very warm/cold temperature climates reliably.
I'm using a couple of these units for our home outdoor CCTV system. Plug in and forget, basically. They do the job extremely well, mounted in (dry) locations, however with potentially very warm and cold temperature changes. They have stayed running 24/7 for a few years now. Only had to replace One that stopped working. Would certainly buy more, as I expand my CCTV system, or as replacements.

Super bit if kit
This simple plug and play PoE ethernet switch is simple and uses power from the PoE (power over Ethernet) cable to run it, so no power packs required, useful if installing remotely. Small, neat and inexpensive, what more could you ask for?

Simple PoE pass through
Very cheap PoE pass through switch. I didn't read the description properly thinking this was a PoE switch. I used a PoE injector to power the switch with a VoIP Desk Phone and an Access Point. Works well and had no issues as of yet.

Simple and useful
Easy to setup- literally plug in and that is it. Have it connecting up 4 different ethernet cables in the loft and working on PoE (power over ethernet) so no need for wiring up extra electrical outlets.

Great 5-Port Gigabit PoE Switch
I had an issue a few months back where by I had a Raspberry Pi that when witched on killed my network. So I wanted to plug it into a separate network in isolation so I could inspect what was going on.I plugged the Pi into one port and another port directly into my MacBook. Then was able to run WireShark to see what network packets were being thrown.Eventually narrowed it down to a Home Assistant update that was upsetting my main Router. This then enabled me to rollback an update to the last good version and saved the day.I don't use this switch everyday, it just used when I need to isolate something to see what's going on.The switch itself just worked outa the box as it says.Nothing else to say really ... it just works.
