These slacks are of mid-weight fabric that washes beautifully, comes out of the dryer looking pressed, and stays neat all day. The cut is perfect for those of us with more belly than saddlebags, and the waist comes up high enough that there is no danger of muffin-top or accidental disclosures. The straight legs are slightly wide all the way to the heel, a flattering look for everyone. The petite size is just perfect for a mid-to-low heel and looks great with tall heels too. One of the best, and most unexpected bonuses, was that the pockets are actually functional! I'm able to hold my huge mobile phone *(which has a big Otterbox case on it) as well as keys and other necessary items without carrying a purse. Even holds my wallet. If you've shopped for slacks with functional pockets, you know what a minor miracle this is today. I'm definitely buying more of these!

Just ordered my 5th pair, and as a woman over 50 have vowed never to wear those uncomfortable tight jeans again. I searched for months for the perfect substitute, and finally was surprised to find these online. They give just the right amount of room without looking like baggy old lady pants. The waist is actually AT the waist, so there's no riding down the hips when you sit down, or embarrassing tugging to get them back up where they belong. Very happy to have graduated to these grown up pants!

My pants are 12 Medium in the Roasted Chestnut (a great basic color). These are soft with a bit of stretch, which makes them extremely comfortable. They can be worn all day and night...The teeth on the zipper are a coppery color that allow for smooth zipping/unzipping. The button is a similar chestnut brown (as the pants), but is slightly transluscent--helping it blend into the background. I like that you actually have real back pockets (only a little smaller than on standard jeans).These are sewn in a way that look practically hidden, as well.These pants are very low maintenance. I could roll around on the floor with my kids without getting wrinkled. They are also "wash and wear," so I don't have to worry about ironing.I like that this bigger size isn't as form-fitting. They hug my bottom without clinging to my thighs. The waist is a little wider than I thought, but I did the measurements AFTER eating dinner--something to keep in mind when choosing your size.

I have been a loyal Lee brand customer for over 14-years. I have purchased women's shorts, relaxed fit pants and jeans on a regular basis, however, for the past few years I have noticed the quality diminishing on Lee's products. In fact, I recently ordered five pairs of women's Relaxed Fit All day Jeans in the same size, I was shocked at the poor quality, cheap fabric and shoddy sewing, with each pair sized radically different, and one pair had a leg sewn clear through. Moreover, I highly doubt the validity of the other Amazon reviews that say these pants are great; they may be fake reviews or the reviewers are not familiar with with the prior Lee pant quality.I am extremely disappointed that Lee has chosen to reduce the quality of their women's pants to the cheapest and poorest quality made that they are not worth purchasing anymore. If they have to charge more to make a better quality of pant, then they should do so but do not sell these horribly poor quality and uninspected quality control pants to the public, especially their loyal customers!Lee has lost me as a valued customer and frankly, they will lose a great many more customers too. The shop where I purchased their clothing even stopped carrying Lee pants stating that the quality is so low customers stopped buying them; that is why I had to order them on Amazon. I am sending these pants back as well.

So, I ordered these because the reviews were good. Now that I own them, I just wish I wouldn't have spent my money on these. They are a bit big, I normally where a 10/12, depending on the pants. I ordered the 12 to be safe, should have gotten the 10. After wearing for an eight hour shift, they looked terrible, wrinkled, baggy, sloppy and I don't sit at my job, I am on my feet the entire time. I am disappointed in these, I have been looking for a good pair of black pants for work and these are just not it.

The fabric has pilled badly

I am 5'5", 28" waist and 38" hip - ordered a 4 in Allspice. They fit wonderfully, with moderate stretch, working equally well with flats and pumps. As a professional and a mom (apologies for toddler handprint smears on my mirror), I was looking for a relaxed, comfortable pant I would wear at home as well as work. These fit the bill, and price by quality couldn't be beat.

I bought two pairs of these a size 8short and a 10short. I am 5’3” and a half and the length of the short size is perfect. I’m not telling you my weight, sorry.I normally buy size 10 jeans at Old navy and in Levi’s. While both sizes fit me (8 and 10), the size 10 is much better for work. The waist is a bit tight on both sizes, but this loosens during the day. The pockets are functional: the two pockets in the front and the pockets in the back. This is a big deal because way too many women’s pants assume we don’t need pockets which is so annoying.I bought the size 8 in dark gray and the 10 in tan. I’m pleased because while I can wear jeans to work, it is always safer to wear actual pants. These are not too stuffy, cheap enough to buy multiple pairs and I can just wash them with everything else.The material isn’t too thin. These are pretty nice. I wouldn’t Hesitate to buy more when I stain these.
