Wasn't in box or bag?
Love the product, and delievery BUT Amazon did not put in bag or outer box and stuck huge lable on the outer Peter rabit box all over the front, and this was to be a Christmas present for my Grandson... Tried to get off, but it still looks terrible... Are Amazon trying to reduce packaging, maybe they have decided to go green ????? Sad way to treat a great product.

Premium quality and beautifully made, very detailed, fun and easy to play with for little ones. Comparing with other similar products, this one looks more stunning but also more expensive.

Really great but toddlers but we got 2 of the same figure
There are five wooden cubes and 5 wooden figures in the set. The design of each cube is based on a different Beatrix Potter tale; There's a Peter Rabbit, Tom Kitten, Jemima puddle duck, Benjamin bunny and Jeremy Fisher themed block and there is one figure to match each cube. Except we didn't get a Jemima puddle duck we got two Peter Rabbit's. Which was quite disappointing, and had this been something that I'd actually bought I'd have been returning it because of that but this was probably just an error with our box. Despite the missing figure this set was an immediate hit with my two year old daughter. She loved roleplaying with the figures in their little 'houses' and then stacking the blocks up and knocking them over. I noticed that wood seemed to pick up small superficial dints very easily. The design of the cube is well thought out and has quite a few learning opportunities incorporated in to it. On the outside of every cube there is a number which is displayed as a figure, a word and in pictures. The boxes have little doorways so the can be used as houses for the figures and for acting out the stories. The outside of the box is painted and the inside is blank. The decoration is applied to a very high standard. It's a really nice set and has a charming old fashioned feel to it. It's definitely the sort of thing I'd consider buying as a gift for a toddler. It's great as long as they have all 5 different figures in your box.

Five stars for these fab five cubes and five characters
The media could not be loaded. This is a set of five wooden, cube stacking blocks that have been beautifully crafted. Complete with five wooden Beatrix Potter stand alone figurines the boxes stack and have been wonderfully sanded and artistically painted. The pieces are robust, attractive and colourful and appealing to both the very young and old. This educational set is fun whilst concomitantly encouraging basic building and counting skills. My only negative criticism is reserved for the packing department who saw fit to plaster a huge ugly address envelope to the front of the cardboard storage box. If I had been planning to gift this toy, it would be a no go because of this.Nonetheless, five stars for these five stacking cubes and five Potter characters.

Adored by little ones.
This stacking cube set does not look to exciting to adult eyes, but it has proved to be extremely popular with our little ones. The cubes are sturdy and well made. Not too heavy. The characters balance well. The current price seems excessive.

Pretty for adults, not bright enough for toddlers
These are very pretty, in the pastel colours we associate with Beatrix Potter illustrations. So we’ve all oohed and aahed over them as they’re beautifully made, very true to the originals and let’s face it, it’s lovely to see traditional wooden toys. But…I honestly think they’re too wishy for babies and toddlers, who tend to focus more on bright colours. And although they stack nicely, the figures are very sweet and there are numbers to help with counting, £32 is eyewateringly pricey. The sort of thing which looks great as a present, lovely as a decorative item in the nursery, brings back fond memories of old fashioned childhoods but in reality? Probably won’t be used all that much as a learning toy and I’m not at all sure the delicate paintwork would survive constantly being chucked in a toy box on a daily basis…

Good educational toy
This is a great educational option for a small child. Cubes are not huge, easy to stack, are lightweight and they are numbered - 1 to 5. Figurines are not too small, so no risk of swallowing. It is fun to play with them as basically, each figurine has its own house so can be role-played.A bit pricey (£32.99 at the time of this review) in my opinion, but I guess it's because of the brand.
