These tools are a life-saver if you are doing any sort of interior work in your vehicle and need to remove panels. These make panel removal very quick and easy and you don't have to worry about marring your dash. I bought these when I added an iPod adapter to my 2009 Lexus IS. Previously I had attempted to get into the dash just using screwdrivers and other items I could make work and did end up slightly damaging a portion of my dash panel. After I bought these, I was able to very quickly get into the crevices and pop off the panels without damage. There are varied sizes and shapes of tools that will work for every angle or type of joint. I have not had a tool break or chip yet, and I have used these several times on several different vehicles. Well worth the purchase to get the right tool for the job. The case is nice to keep them all together in your toolbox so they are always easy to find.

I picked this set of tools up because more and more cars these days have plastic pieces that need to be carefully pried apart and I was tired of ruining them with screw drivers! I have used them a handful of times so far and they have held up nicely. At times, I wish they didn't bend as much, but there have been times when the tool bending probably saved me from utterly destroying what I was working on... :) .I think this set is perfect for a home mechanic that occasionally has to take apart door panels, wheel well splash shields, etc. I doubt the tools will last forever, but it is money well spent if it keeps you from beating up on what you are working on! If mine all self destructed, I would probably buy another set.

I do my own car repair. I have broken more than my share of mystery clips. When I went to install a backup camera and video monitor in my minivan I decided I was going to stop being a fool and get the tool.Chrysler only recommends one of these tools for everything. I used about 4 of them installing my electronics. These things are wonderful for removing plastic panels, but they are also outstanding for pushing wires under things, routing wires, prying on plastic latches to get them to come off, literally anything that you used to use a screwdriver for and potentially did damage with.Plastic panels just pop off with these things if you know where the fasteners are generally. I used the pry bars to get under the big panels that don't release cleanly and gently release each clip that is stubborn.Very highly recommended.

There are probably far more pieces in this kit than you really need to remove trim in your car. All tools are well made, hard plastic/nylon. All have smooth edges. Tools are slightly textured so they do not slip in your hands as you pry. Orange is kind of ugly but I guess it makes the tools very easy to find. I love the canvas fold up tool holder to keep all the trim tools together. Only set I found with this. It also has two metal grommets so you can hang it and the tools on your tool board. Sturdy but stiff canvas. Only real issue is the sewing is very poorly done. The stitching is tight; just very sloppy looking. Very pleased with the set. At this price, I got much more than other sets provide. It is made in China if that is an issue for you.

If you work on car interiors, this is a handy set of tools to have. True, they are not as quite as strong as metal tools (I have several of those) but then they are less likely to damage the more delicate surfaces of a car's interior. I had to take the radio out of my '03 Accord and had to remove a section of the dashboard above the radio to do so. I didn't want to chance using the metal tools that I owned so I bought this set to try out. I was able to do the job with ease and without marring the dashboard surface using several of the tools from this set. The tools were strong enough to pop the clips holding the pieces together without damage to themselves or the car. I liked them enough to buy another set to give to my son.

My house is filled with all sorts of consumer electronics from stereo equipment to laptops to Internet-connected smart devices. Screwdrivers and oyster-shuckers (yes, I said 'oyster shuckers') have been used to unsnap and pry open most of them. After marring and scarring practically every plastic component, I decided to get this AP4524 kit, and they've worked much better than expected. I highly recommend this kit for anyone who needs to "bust open" any type of electronic gadget. I just changed the battery out in my Galaxy Tab 2 7" in less than five minutes (...if you only knew how tough the back panel on those things are to remove, you'd understand). I will be repairing the LED backlights in my Logitiec G11 series keyboard next. There is no reason NOT to purchase this kit and every reason that you should!

Used these to remove the molding above and around the radio and HVAC controls of a 2005.5 VW Jetta. These tools were very helpful and I removed the molding without breaking anything (on the car or the tools). Start with the smallest/narrowest tool to get the molding started, leave each tool in place once you get it under the molding, and work your way up to the larger tools. The plastic seems to be just about right--strong enough to work the molding without scratching it, though I can see that it is easy to break the narrow tools if you go overboard. The bag is good to have for storing everything.

My favourite part is the pouch they come in, however I find myself only using 3 maybe 4 pieces then not touching the rest, some of the plastic is too bendy to do anything but for the most part it works well and I haven’t noticed them leaving any marks
