GREEN DEVIL Safety Helmet Hard Hat Adjustable Lightweight Vented ABS Work Helmet 6-Point Suspension ANSI Z89.1 Approved Ideal for Industrial & Construction

I purchased this helmet to wear during a three-week installation in Alabama where we had to follow PPE requirements for a construction site. I work in event production and art handling, so the hard hat requirement is not something we have at most job sites. I purchased it with the visor and ear protection. I did not use the visor (there's a video online for how to remove it) and only used the ear protection for one day, so I cannot speak to those parts. The helmet is comfortable and meets all the requirements of the job site (Type 1, Class C). I have a small head, so I removed two small extender pieces at the back of the support band to make it fit my head. It probably fits average-headed people just fine. Having the vents open for warm weather worked well. I'll be back on the same site later in the year and will see how the closed vents work during colder weather.Aesthetically, I had expected the chameleon pattern to change color as the helmet turned like an iridescent finish. That is not the case, the color shift is printed into the pattern of the graphic and not a color shift. That was the only disappointing thing about the helmet, but that'll all be covered in stickers soon enough, so the finish isn't as important.

Good hat, the visor is good but it sits in the truck. Same thing with the muffs. If your in that working condition they are platinum grade. The shell and webbing are excellent. Unfortunately I had this thing on my head for a month when I got a look at it somewhere else for a fraction the cost. That’s the rub with this HH. Oh and look at the ANSI rating it doesn’t qualify for even your standard commercial construction site.

Compact, lightweight, durable so far, much different from conventional hard hats.

We purchase this helmet for our team with the face shield and hearing protection. Our crew find them more comfortable and no longer concerns of having the helmet blow off when working at heights, around traffic or airfields. Highly recommended.Disadvantage of this helmet, they're currently only available as ANSI Type One.

I love the colours but not the fit, love the Uvex fit better. But dang the colours are nice on these!
