A safe bet all in all.
2-26-25 Update to original review. The manufacturer cared enough to reach out to me directly. That says a lot about a company these days. They made it right and at this point I can't say enough good about them. I've gotten use to the way it feels and all in all, it feels pretty solid and is probably one of the better made chairs in this price range.---------------------------------------------------First let me say it is built well and I feel the quality of materials matches the pricing. What I like:- The recliner leg support is a great feature during the day when you just want to stretch back a for a few minutes and give your headache a break. I didn't expect t to be anything great but it is surprisingly comfortable.- Arm rests are nice and comfortable too. It is a little annoying that anytime I grab the chair to spin it around or move it a little, the arms give so easily and click to other positions. It would be nice to be able to tighten them down once you have them adjusted the way you like.- I have the tension spring for the recline feature set pretty tight and it holds pretty well on the way back when reclining. I'm not that large of a person, if you are, you'll find the chair doing a little rocking back on the casters when you hit the bottom if you don't keep turning that adjustment until it's tensioned well.Aside from that, here are a few other details to consider:- The fabric was stretched slightly crooked, not horrible but wasn't perfectly straight.- The fabric also has some sort of a rubberized treatment that feels a little gimmicky to me. Not like what I was expecting.- I've had mesh chairs before that had a nice deep roll at the front of the seat, so if you sit forward with good posture, the rolled fabric still creates cushion for the under thigh area out at the front. This one does not have that deep roll with stretched fabric acting as the cushion, instead it has a slight roll with some padding and then finishes out with a hard plastic frame. That plastic frame puts pressure on the bottom of the thigh with very little downward pressure from your legs. I wish I had gotten the same chair with the fabric cushion seat instead because I feel like that would have a much thicker cushion at the front edge. I didn't because I tend to run hot throughout the day and like the benefit of the mesh's cooling traits.- The lumbar support sits off of the fabric about 3/4" so when I sit back in the chair, my back doesn't even touch the support. If it does touch it, it isn't with any pressure at all so you're not getting any benefit. Would be nice if it was adjustable that direction. I know some people can't have lumbar support without having pain, but if it was removable, it would serve both types. Also, there is a seat forward/backwards adjustment when assembling the chair. I originally set it for the seat all the way back to see if it would help with this but then the seat was so short that it didn't feel right at all.All in all, I didn't think I had extremely high expectations of a chair, I guess maybe the thought of spending this much, and after seeing the fabric installed crooked, I just got a little judgmental and didn't allow myself to be impressed. I'm also just surprised at how little effect some of the features have and that they really don't offer much.I'm sure from reading many of the reviews here, others have different expectations than I do. I am used to the nice Herman Miller chairs we have at the office but I didn't want to spend that kind of money for an at home chair. One last thing, not sure if it was because I ordered this at Christmas but Amazon kept delaying the delivery which sucked because they sent us a message and said we had to be there for delivery. This didn't make sense and actually appeared to be fraudulent emails and messages, you know like someone trying to get you to respond to a phishing scam. At one point I did tracking through the Amazon app and realized it was legit and that they wanted us to copy a 6 digit code and give that to the driver before they would give us the package. This was totally unexpected and not what we were used to from Amazon. They should have given us a heads up instead of letting it appear to be a scam. I mean how many of us don't get phishing emails all the time that we have a Home Depot or Amazon order that can't be delivered etc......

Great price! Great chair!
I really love this chair. It was easy to assemble. It’s very comfortable! Only 2 reason it got 4 stars out of 5 was bc it sits a little high. I’m 5’2 and the heal of my feet don’t tough the ground. Other reason are the arms of the chair. It’s fantastic that they adj and even rotate up. I work at a ackward corner desk. So that chair arm has to be up. The problem is the position of the arms don’t stay in the position. If I put any pressure on the arm that’s down, it will shrink down to a different position. Other arm falls down. I’m daily adjusting the arms. Not worth bringing back. But if you don’t have the patience for stuff like that, not your chair.

Great chair for good price
I replaced a 6 year old Staples chair that began failing with this model. I was looking for adjustable lumbar, harms, swivel, tilt and height change. The foot and head rests were a bonus. It game quicker than first communicated. It was packed well. Directions for assembly were sufficient and the online video was also very good. The marking to note the front of the seat control attachment was hard to ready, but with some more lighting we figured out which end was the 'front' . The word front is on one end, but there is a small arrow pointed to the other end of the control, which is the real front. Easy to assemble. 10 nuts. At first I could not adjust the lumbar. I search through the other reviews and found that using an Allen wrench not supplied, I loosened the screws on the inside of the lumbar handle mechanism and it works great. The directions failed to mention lumbar support movement at all in the three page booklet that came in the box. The provided Allen wrench tool worked well, but could be used for the lumbar adjustment. I can now move the lumbar up and down without tools and it locks into place fine. I'm 5' 8", a large gal, and this chair is comfortable. I've only used it for 2 10 hours days so far, but really like it at the moment. I love the tilt up arms, never had this on a desk chair before, but I think it will be a space saver when not using the chair. Great for a small home office.

Great chair for a 5 foot 3 person
I had a fancy-looking pleather chair but after working from home and back pain, I decided to get this ergonomic chair. On the cons, it doesn't go as high up as I thought it would and on zoom the netting at the top of the chair makes my hair look a bit fuzzy against a virtual background. Also, I wish the lumbar support protruded more into my back and also came up a bit higher. On the pros, love that I can adjust the arm rests up and down and side to side, it keeps me cool, I can lean back, and I can put my feet up for parts of the day (a bonus feature that I didn't think I would use!). I took off the headrest because the back already comes up above most of my head and so it was unnecessary. I also ended up getting a keyboard tray, which helped with the ergonomics. My back pain has virtually disappeared. Woohoo!
