Should be required reading for aspiring writers of non-fiction.
This should be required reading for anyone planning to publish a How-To book of any sort. I would go so far as to recommend it to every writer of Non-Fiction. It's a light refresher for the experienced writer and a real How-to guide for those who think they know what they are doing.Of the hundreds of books I've downloaded from Amazon - less than 10% of the authors could even understand what this book was about let alone follow the basic premise put forward. Which makes the majority of the books I've downloaded suitable for landfill at best. The text may be a bit dry, but if you want to learn how to do something the right way, does good writing always have to be pabulumized first? This is for people who can think - sorry that excludes the majority of would be authors - but it's true.

Reads Like a Tome
This book reads like a Tome. It is very academic in its breakdown of the writing process. Because of its academic like structure, you get absolutely no fluff at all. This book practices Exactly what it preaches. Everything is explained in good detail. This is a keeper for anyone looking for a 123 approach to writing their first 'how to' book. If you follow the formula you won't have any issues.

Good for Beginners Who Want to Write a How To Book
This book is okay. I liked it because it covered the basics that a new author can sink his or her teeth into writing how to books, but for anyone who has written books before, it is very basic and does not offer a lot of insights for experienced writers.

Good for starters
The book can be helpful to new authors who want to write on "how to". It is like a template.
