Turkey Trouble

I read Turkey Trouble book to a kindergarten class and they thoroughly enjoyed it! They loved the different dishuises and having pizza for dinner. It's so nice to have a funny, engaging book about a holiday that's so often overlooked.

Cute story, fun book, and I like that the idea of the turkey trying out different disguises is somewhat repetitive (predictive, which is good for young kids). I use it with my students for speech-language therapy and it’s been great for working on picture description, sentence formulation, vocabulary, wh- questions, speech sounds, etc. I’ll definitely be pulling this book out every November!

I read this to my six and eight-year-olds. Here is what my 8yo said: “I love the puns. They’re very funny and I love the pictures that that went on the pages. They’re hilarious and they don’t even look like animals but they’re really funny.”Here is what my 6yo said: “It’s funny!”

I love this just as much as the kids do. It's so cute and well done. We have started buying all the other holidays with Turkey as well!

Really got us in the thanksgiving spirit! Good fun read for kids!

I am trying to build up my son's collection of Thanksgiving books. We have plenty for Easter, spring, fall, Halloween, and Christmas, but there are not as many that are specific for Thanksgiving. So I was happy to add this to the list. My son loves all of the silly disguises the turkey wears. We will definitely add more books from the Turkey Trouble series to our bookshelf.

This was a fun and entertaining book for the whole family. We read a lot of books at Christmas and Halloween time and we wanted to add more books for other holidays. This was a great family friendly read and a little thrilling to find out what happens to the turkey. It’s nice to have a new Thanksgiving tradition!
