Unlike many protein drink powders, the Tera's whey vanilla is delicious. The quality of the vanilla flavoring used is superior to other powdered products. It's great as both a smoothie additive and on its own with milk. It mixes easily. After months of trying - and discarding - other more well-known brands, I was pleased to discover Tera's. I never buy anything else.

I’m glad this protein powder worked out for me. It’s grass fed, has no funky ingredients and blends well in my yogurt and smoothies. I sometimes mix it with coconut water and it sorta tastes like milk 😋 I will continue buying this.

I’ve been using this for years and loved the light smooth flavor. It’s the only protein powder I’ve used since I first found it. Previously I always purchased the Whey in the round tins. They changed the containers to plastic. I purchased two containers of the whey in the new containers and used it for the first time today. It has an unpleasant odor and taste. I opened the other container and had the same result. Whereas the previous whey had a very light taste, this one overwhelmed the flavor of the orange drink I had it in.Comparing the the old and new canisters, the process has clearly changed as the fats and carbs are different on the labels.This truly tastes awful. If it were not past the return date I would request a refund. I’m not sure what I will do now for vanilla protein, but unfortunately it won’t be Teras whey. I am truly sorry to lose this gem.

Mixes well in smoothy (never tried without blender). Smells more like vanilla than it tastes like vanilla. A little too sweet for my taste so I ordered plain and mix 50/50 in my smoothies and I find that is perfect for me. Happy to find a quality product that doesn't have added sugar or any of my many food allergens. Will continue to order this product.

Review based on the newer packaging that I received. (see my photos)I've been looking for a cleaner protein with fewer ingredients than most in the market. I started using this product a year or so ago. I've read some reviews that the previous packaged product was better than the current one (plastic container). I've had both and didn't notice a huge difference because I make smoothies with other ingredients. So far, this product works for me and balances out the protein I need. The taste is ok with a bit of chalkiness if not blended well, and the vanilla adds a nice sweetness and goes well with many recipes. I have yet to try cooking this protein or adding it to other foods.As a kidney patient, the cleaner ingredients and amount of protein help my nutrition needs. The lower sodium and phosphorous are big pluses. Not many nutrition facts include phosphorous; I'm grateful this company adds it to its label.

I use a bullet to blend it with milk. When I buy the vanilla I add fruit!
