These are sturdy and I like the locking mechanism too close and open. They are great for picking up salads, or non slippery foods. I would have given five stars, but when I used to pick up fried foods, the food slipped because the edges are flat and not slightly curved. So be careful when frying or slippery foods.

These tongs are simple, sturdy, and just what I needed. Whether I’m flipping food, grabbing toast, or tossing salad, they get the job done without any fuss. The grip is solid (no slipping!), and the spring is just the right amount of tension. Easy to clean, easy to store honestly, I didn’t realize how much I needed good tongs until I had these. Highly recommend!

If you already own tongs or have ever put your hands-on a pair of tongs. You know the first thing you do is give it a good "clip clip" to see how they're gonna work for you. These pass the clip clip test with flying colors. Sturdy material and strong spring make these excellent tongs.
