Our premium lawena comes from the region of Taveuni in Fiji. It is a noble cultivar known as loa waka in Fiji. This kava comes straight from a group of farmers situated in the South of the Island of Taveuni in Fiji. The flavor profile of this kava is mild and very suitable for daytime use. This kava is greatly enjoyed by the locals in Fiji for its smooth taste. The kava is harvested at 3-4 years old and fire dried for 6 hours before being sun dried for the remainder of the time to be processed and turned into power form. The chemotype of the lawena is 426351 and it contains 5.2% kavalactones. Note: May contain large kava chunks.
