Amazing
Quality of the item is good and works well for my 18650 batteries, I would recommend as a first machine if this type

Very disappointed with this
Delivered at 18:30, charged, tested and repackaged for return by 19:00. Comes with charging lead, heat shrink for the probes, and a length of nickel strip for you to weld to your batteries. However, even after a full charge I was not able to make a decent weld, even using the strip supplied. The unit doesn't have enough power, even on the highest setting. I'm clueless to what you would use the lower settings for. At £26, this is a joke, I got a basic one from Ali...., for a fiver which works perfectly but I need to connect it to a 12 volt battery, I thought this rubbish would be better..

Ideal for DIY dose the job good

Does what it says on the advert - should have orered a higher power unit
If you are doing very small and thin connections this works well. If you are building an 18650 battery pack or repairing a damaged OEM pack, or you want to use something more heavey duty - I recommend buying somehing with slightly more power.

Spot welder
This spot welder was fully charged before its first use, and used only as a test to verify its performance, on the testing I found the unit dose not have adequate power to perform a reliable weld to my batteries and further more the nickel strip can be removed by hand even on the highest setting, as this unit is used for edf model jet aircraft battery pack build it is not reliable for such purpose, spend a little extra and get something more powerful for this purpose.

Good but duty cycle leaves something to be desired
Good item does what it says on the tin but after about five welds one after the other, there is a serious lack of power, needs to be set aside to cool down for a few minutes before using again. I’d say ok for small jobs but if you’re doing anything larger you might want to look at something slightly more expensive that has a better duty cycle like i wish I had, but am happy with my purchase all in all

Not man enough for the job
Didn’t spot weld at all more of a mark in the metal, did give a refund tho.
