definitely a good read
I would have given it a 4.5 if an option. But 5s I save absolutely mind blowing, life changing books. There’s nothing negative about the book or the story at all, but for me 5s are sacred. This book reads smooth and easy, it has great pace and development, the characters are interesting and have mystery about them, the story is exciting and interesting leaving the reader wondering what’s coming next. The ending is very satisfying and gives the reader closure. My favorite part about the book is that the author doesn’t fill pages with unnecessary information that you just want to skip over. She gets to the point quickly, she describes the scenes with the perfect amount of detail to provide the reader with exactly what is needed to understand and visualize what is happening at that exact moment. There’s no extra fluff. Even when she takes us into the thoughts of the characters, she does it minimally but with enough precision to perfectly understand the characters’ state of mind. The Housemaid is a perfectly packaged gift of a book, and I enjoyed reading it. Looking forward to reading the sequel.

Suspense, Drama, and Emotional Depth in The Housemaid Series
The Housemaid series is a gripping and emotionally charged collection of books that kept me hooked from the very first page. The author masterfully weaves a suspenseful narrative filled with unexpected twists, complex characters, and intense drama that makes it nearly impossible to put the books down. What I loved most about the series is how it explores themes of trust, betrayal, and resilience through the eyes of the protagonist. The main character is well-developed and relatable, with flaws and strengths that make her journey compelling and realistic. Watching her navigate through challenging situations and uncover dark secrets adds depth and tension to the story. The pacing is excellent—fast enough to keep the excitement alive but detailed enough to create vivid scenes and emotional moments. The writing style is engaging and accessible, making it enjoyable for a wide range of readers. I especially appreciated the way the author builds suspense gradually, leading to dramatic climaxes that are both satisfying and thought-provoking.Beyond the suspense and drama, the books also touch on important social issues and human emotions, giving the story a layer of meaningful reflection. It’s not just a thriller; it’s a narrative about survival, empowerment, and the complexity of human relationships.Overall, The Housemaid series is a fantastic read for anyone who loves psychological thrillers with strong characters and gripping plots. I highly recommend it and look forward to reading more from this author in the future!

Fascinating and fast paced!!!
This book was so incredible to the point. I finish this book in one day. This story has a lot of twist and a lot of plot. My favorite character was Millie. She wanted to start over with a new life after her trouble past by becoming a housemaid. She had to deal with a crazy lady name Lisa. Lisa is the lady who owns a house who also hired Millie to be her housemaid. Millie finds out that Lisa has a trouble past as well. Lisa’s husband Andrew, who is handsome, who works a lot doesn’t realize that his wife hired a housemaid, and he accept it. Each character has a past where you would not expect in each page has a lot of twists and a lot of jaw dropping to the point. You did not expect that at all. I really enjoyed this book and I’m so glad I gave this book a five stars.

Enjoyable
4.5 star ⭐️ I really enjoyed this book 📕 and I’m so glad I read it. I was hooked from the beginning. I loved the ending. I have heard it compared to The Last Mrs Parrish but I haven’t read it yet. So on to book 📕 2.Some of the writing is on the lighter side but I expected this and sometimes honestly it’s perfect. Because you just want to sit back and enjoy the ride.

Jaw-Dropping, Addictive, and Wildly Entertaining!
The Housemaid completely hooked me from the first page! It’s fast-paced, suspenseful, and full of deliciously twisted moments that had me flying through chapters just to see what would happen next.Millie is such a relatable, flawed, but determined character, and the psychological tension between her and Nina kept me on edge the entire time. Just when I thought I had everything figured out—BAM—Freida McFadden hit me with a plot twist I didn’t see coming at all. This book gave me Verity meets Behind Closed Doors vibes. Dark secrets, manipulation, and power plays kept the tension high, and the ending left me stunned in the best way possible. If you love domestic thrillers with short, binge-worthy chapters and jaw-dropping reveals… this is a must-read.
