In my search for something to ease my Jake's hot spots, I came across this well reviewed product. I bought 2 containers. Within a week of starting him on them, he showed definite signs of improvement that continued as time went by. So, I bought another 2 containers.When I opened the new ones, I noticed that the color was different than the original ones I'd bought. It was a lighter brown that tended toward gray. They smelled the same so I continued to give them to him. After about 10 days, he started scratching again and it got worse over time. I didn't know what to think. Had I gotten a bad batch? Did they change the formula? Had he built up a tolerance?I wrote the company, providing the times I'd bought them and the batch number of the last ones. They said that no, it wasn't a bad batch and they hadn't changed the formula and they would be happy to refund my money (which they did). Now I know why they offer the refund.Needless to say, I'm very disappointed that this product quit working with the subsequent containers.I hope your experience is better than mine.

While this product may work well for other dogs, it caused my dog severe distress. The problem did not happen suddenly, but over a period of several months, this caused my dog constipation and belly cramps causing her to whine and pace. Also, she would eat grass constantly in an attempt to ease her discomfort. Realizing this was the only addition to her diet, it was discontinued and symptoms were gone in a matter of days. If you chose to try it, and other dogs may have good success, watch your dog closely for distress.UPDATE: The seller reached out and offered a full refund. This is exceptional since the product is not at fault- it just didn't agree with my dog's digestive system. I buy the anti-shed formula for my son's dog and he seems to do fine!

My dog has several allergies, including yeast. I searched the ingredients listed on this page and shown in the images, as well as the ingredients on their actual website. No where does it list the inactive ingredients. This product may work for other dogs, but, especially since this is supposed to help dogs with allergies, the company should be more transparent about their ingredients.The ingredients they advertise again and again are: Omega-3 Fatty Acids (Fish Oil), Turmeric Root, Grape Seed Extract, , Quercetin, Pumpkin Powder, Bromelain, , EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid), DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid)The ingredients it also contains are: Brewers Dried Yeast, Canola Oil, Citric Acid, Dried Potato Product, Flaxseed, Glycerin, Lecithin, Maltodextrin, Mixed Tocopherols, Peanut Butter Flavor, Rosemary Extract, Sorbic Acid, Tapioca Starch, Vegetable Oil, Water

What can I say, my German Shepherd had all kinds of skin issues and massive shedding. Got these and although they're not cheap....they really work!! Her coat and skin are truly perfect and get this NO SHEDDING!!!! and we live in Texas.

My dog has itchy skin, after using this product for awhile, I don't see any changes. (according to the sizing chart, I give 4 treats a day to her)

I hate leaving an overall one star rating when our dog is a picky eater. Our girl suffers from seasonal allergies from early summer through late fall to when the temperatures really cool down. For the past three years we've needed to get her allergy shots. We hate putting her through that and sometimes they don't seem to work as well as they did the first year. We also use Benedryl tablets on the advice of our veterinarian.I was very encouraged by the reviews for the Bark& Spark Allergy Immune Chews. Unfortunately it has been a resounding NO - she will not eat them no matter what we try. Peanut butter, Cheez whiz, pill pockets, crushing it up in food. Nothing works and unfortunately I'm left with a $35 dollar jar of unusable chews. Even the animal shelter won't take an open jar of anything.

Chews were eagerly devoured BUT I was surprised for my dog weighting 75 lbs she was to take 6 pills a day. Just beware of that if cost is a factor in your decision. Hoping her issue is just spring allergies !
