For once, a rare surprise at quality ABOVE and BEYOND expectations!We hd the cheapy plastic ones in mind, and while the paratroopers are plastic, they are good sized and sturdy with extra loops even. The parchutes themselves are not just strung with a few strings of cheap plastic, but a full mesh netting (white) bottom, with a fabric (not plastic!) camo top. We've already played the heck out of them, and they've not broken, ripped or torn, or disconnected in any way and seem like it'd take a good effort to do so. The price is super-good for such a quality toy by today's standards. Thanks!

A+++ I've played with many different versions of these "parachute army guys" in my lifetime...when I was a kid, with my kids and now my grandkids. These are the BEST version yet!! Not the thin plastic chute and cheap string toys. The parachutes are material with durable string and the military guy (which is bigger than an average army guy toy) provides the perfect weight. These "sail" down nicely! The grandkids drop these over the second floor railing and they sail down very nicely!!

The parachute does open well, there isn't any tangle at all. It does work better if you add a small light weight to enhance the products performance.

Just from the design, these work better if you merely drop them from a high place with the parachute ready to go. If you try to throw them up in the air, it doesn't really deploy the chute fast enough, and just falls to ground.

These dudes are awesome. They are WAY more substantial the the ones we had as kids. The parachuters themselves are solid and at least like 3-4 inches, but those parachutes are THE BOMB. They're a sturdy nylon fabric as opposed to crappy plastic and they work surprisingly well. The kids dropped them from our second story banister and as long as they can catch a little air, they work really well. For the price, these were a really awesome party favor for my son's "helicopter birthday." 10/10 recommend.

Glide slowly to the ground. Is not made cheaply. String doesn't get wrapped up around the plastic man kids love these!!!!

I bought these for a Trail Life USA open house event. All the boys got one and afterwards some of the girls that were there were asking for them.Much better than those cheap ones with small trash bag like parachutes.I'm cheap and poor so I don't love the price but, we did have some fun with these for sure. Worth the purchase.

I was surprised by how well made these are. The parachute is a lightweight fabric, not the thin easily torn plastic I expected. The upper cute is sewn to a thin net which attaches to a ribbon that the paratrooper is attached to. All grandchildren loved playing with these!
