This pack is really nice. We camp a lot and bought this for my father in law as he still prefers the tent experience. It has everything!

A lot of kits out there tend to have a limited amount of items in their pack, for about the same price as this.I figured I'd give this one a shot because it had so much with it.I was not disappointed for multiple reasons:1. All tools have a good steel metal weight to them. Feel tight and fluid without any looseness. Blades clearly sharp out the box without need of sharpening. All tool parts fit together snugly and stay together. Every tool came with their own carrying case and a strap for attaching to a belt/etc.2. A bare minimum, but necessary, first aid kit. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but at the end of the day, most minor-medium (non-hospital requiring) injuries needing a first aid kit will be covered by this.3. Whistles... So many whistles. "Who cares about whistles?" You do when you're trapped in a situation you can't get yourself out of and rescue workers need to know you're even alive.4. Tools, tools, tools and more tools - Lose a tool? No worries. The other items in your bag probably have what you lost to keep you ready for any situation.5. The bag's Velcro fully detaches from the straps attachment. You can attach it to your backpack, belt, etc and not need to worry about trying to take 5 minutes to undo it. Grab the handle at the top and pull away from the strap attachment.6. Full book opening. Easy to get and put back whatever you need.

Great for the camp tent

We liked the smallness of the pack and its sturdiness. The tools are mainly multiuse. Those that aren't multiuse are useful and well made. The first aid supplies included are a joke. What is needed in a survival kit is "big" first aid supplies. Regular bandaids will not be enough. When the first aid supplies we wanted and water purfication supplies were added, the pack became a great addition to our SUV.

Made a great gift for my husband to keep in his car for emergencies and to take camping.

This set is super stocked with all the essentials anyone would ever need. I have such a use for everything here and will be stocking this set in my truck. We go camping a lot and there are a ton of essentials that I've wished I had with me that are in this set and now in my truck.Between the warm blanket in case someone is cold to the emergency tool to break a window if stuck in the truck, this pack is loaded with goodies and are all made of super high quality.Highly recommend for anyone wanting a survival pack and first aid kit for a great price.

I wanted something to keep in my car for emergencies during a northern winter. Ok, fishing equipment probably wouldn’t be necessary if I was stranded somewhere. But I guess you never know. Ha! Love the kit. It has everything you could need. And in a well thought out minimal space. I didn’t want a big bulky kit and this one fits the bill perfectly. Could also see where this would be useful if you were hiking and camping. It’s not for long term, months and months survivalists, but for short term goals, it’s perfect. Recommend.

fine for “something” vs nothing. some items like the shovel may be single use. but for the price it is better than nothing
