Best small multifunction kitchen appliance
I have been looking for a replacement for my Rival slow cooker that got broken 15 years ago. This is the same design and works as well. I have used it to make Ham & Bean soup, Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, Pot Roast, French Toast, etc. The griddle is easy to clean with just a wet rag or paper towel and the pot and lid are dishwasher friendly. I have a casserole carrier that fits around this just fine. It is easy to move from the house to the camp trailer.I would recommend this product to everyone looking for small multifunctional kitchen appliances.

Really nice unit
This is one really nice unit. I like the fact that it has 6 heat levels instead of the normal 3 and the pot comes off so it can be cleaned easily. I cooked up some Chili the other day and it came out great. After cooking I set it on low and it kept the food warm without burning. The only thing is I wish it had rubber on the lid handles so you could pick it up without gloves but that's a minor problem. As long as it holds up it will be a good buy.

LOVE IT SO FAR.
I like the fact that it is Teflon coated. I only rated it 4-Stars. Will check back in 6 months or so to see if the coating lasts, (if it does, I will change from a 4-star to a 5) but suffice to say I had an old Slow Cooker (round) and I never liked whatever I cooked in it tasted.I cooked baby back ribs in this. Didn't detect any odd flavor...clean up was a breeze--do NOT put in dishwasher and believe me, clean up was SO EASY...hope I have the same results in 6 months.Check around though...it can be got at a Red symbol store for ten dollars cheaper, though I did notify Amazon of this so maybe they adjusted their price.

The price is very reasonable and love the color
My mom bought me one of these years ago and I used it all the time . I bought this one so I could have one at camp and one at home. this is not your average slow cooker the heating goes from one to six and six will boil potatoes . It is very handy as the top can be used as a serving dish which is so handy and at camp we use the base to cook eggs and pancakes . Once you buy one of these you won't be able to live without it . The price is very reasonable and love the color .

This is so much more useful, it can slow cook
Anyone still using crock pots , get rid of them. This is so much more useful, it can slow cook , cook on the stove top or as a griddle.Great product!

I'm worried that the knob could be easily knocked off the stem and break off
Have used it once so I'm still in the testing stage. Seemed to take a long time to get the full crock of chicken soup with lots of chicken chunks and veggies to heat on highest level to a simmer. Once it did the base heated the soup so well I had to turn it down to a "3" or a little less to keep it simmering and not boiling over or burning. Next time I will heat up the filled pot first on the stove top to a boil and then transfer it to the griddle base to cut down on the cooking time. I think that is what I use to do with my old West Bend that was similar, and that process worked well. The only concern I have is that the temperature control knob on the base sticks out, seems loose and is not flush/snug up against the base. I'm worried that the knob could be easily knocked off the stem and break off. My old West Bend's base was identical to this and the knob didnot stick out nor was it loose like this. Has anyone else had this issue?(12/25/17) Just got a response from another buyer. My suspicion was confirmed. The cooker I have is defective and the temperature control knob stem is not properly functioning. I thought it was odd that the cooker arrived not double boxed and in only the manufacturer's display box. I suspect it probably was damaged in shipping. I am trying to get in touch with the store and get it exchanged for a new unit without having to return it and pay the current increase inn price of $12.00.

Sorry to say it was a waste of money
I wanted to replace my old West Bend oblong slow cooker and ordered this one. After using one time it barely heats and will take all day to ever reach a slight boil. Sorry to say it was a waste of money. If it is only a problem with the heating element the slow cooker itself is a nice shape for roasts.

good for the price
fine for the price. it works fine, no issues with that, but the "griddle" is worthless. doesn't heat evenly and is too small to even do pancakes.the pot is very easy to clean and cooks as expected, but it's no "crockpot"
