I bought this from my granddaughter for Christmas.And she loved it , and her and her boyfriend had fun doing it

Great for building memories with grandkids.

Waste of money! Never even got to the casting part. The mold making was a huge fail. I weighed everything, used a timer. End result was blue cottage cheese that disintegrated when removing my hand and unlike a different brand I had used previously, there were absolutely no details or texture evident in the gloppy mold. Pouring the plaster into it would have been a complete waste of money; the plaster would have filled the capillaries formed by the cottage cheese globs. I'll save the plaster for a different projects.

We ordered this, has all tools except for the one to put the hardened mixture. I just poured the white mix now so we are waiting for the outcome.

The instructions were very hard to follow, and the advertisement picture was a bit deceiving. Ultimately, we figured out the instructions and accomplished the goal! I would definitely suggest allowing the casting to set longer than 45 minutes. We waited an hour, and some of our casting chipped away b/c it was still wet.

I loved this kit! Comes with everything you need and the details are STUNNING! It fit me, my husband and my 3 kids. A few tips: the warmer the water you use, the faster it will set. This could be a good thing when doing with smaller kids and can't hold them still for long, BUT if you're wanting to have some time to get situated use colder water. Also have each member involved wiggle their hand before removing and do this one at a time! I plan to coat the finished project in epoxy so we can enjoy this for many years!

Bought this as a Valentine's present for my husband. He really liked the item and flexible creativity. It was a lot of fun creating a memory with him.
