It came well protected, packed in a tight, fitted, foam filled box and seems to be of a very good quality. I think the last one I bought, from a different manufacturer, came loose in a plastic bag. So hopefully, the fact that they went to that much trouble to put it in a fitted box says something about the quality they put into the gauge itself. If you're like me and have spent a lot of years fixing and working on a lot of different kinds of things from engines to fishing reels and most everything in between, then you know when you pick up a part, or a tool of some kind, that good parts and good tools have a much different feel to them than the cheap ones do. I am not a gauge expert, but this feels and looks like a good part to me. Maybe you will understand what I mean. It feels heavy for it's size and tight. I installed it on my swimming pool pump and it's doing its job very well. Time will tell as to how long it lasts, but right now I'm very happy with my purchase.

Works fine so far. Did not notice that the scale is useless for pool pump. I feel like I bought car speedometer for the bicycle...

A pressure gauge is absolutely necessary for adjustment of a pressure regulator which is absolutely necessary in some cities whose water pressure to the customer can far exceed maximum recommended pressures for some devices such as reverse osmosis filters. But these cheaper gauge versions should be removed after any adjustments and the resulting open fitting plugged to eliminate the possibility of corrosion of steel parts producing a leak. This is a caution from learning the hard way.

One of my old gauges was yellow and cracked and this was a perfect replacement. Simply took the old one out, a little plumbing tape and I was good to go. Been a few months and still no issues. My system has two gauges so I was able to verify that this one is reading accurately. Hopefully I wont need another one but if I did I would buy this one again.

[This may be a repeat as I think I did it before.] This is a high quality instrument which installs easily and will last. It is carefully packaged. It is the perfect range for domestic water systems. Using it you can see where and when the the pressure switch starts and stops the pump. Use a 9/16 open end wrench and do not for get the teflon tape, 2 and 1/2 turns.

The pressure gauge that I received from Milson has been working perfectly. I have been using it to monitor water line pressure going into a reverse osmosis water filter. The inlet pressure has a direct impact on the outlet pressure. I have been very pleased with the product. It has been functioning exactly as advertised.

This is just a great, high quality inexpensive replacement pressure gauge for use atop a DE pool filter. Came beautifully packaged in ONE DAY, made of sturdy metal casing and installs with an adjustable wrench in about 30 seconds. If you need a replacement air pressure valve, you won't be sorry purchasing this one.
