This pit was everything I'd hope it would be for the price. 10 years ago i had a smaller black steel one for $40 and that only lasted 2 summers really. This pit is the perfect size, easy to move, works with my cities protocols and the kids loved roasting marshmallows with it. I don't understand some reviews about it getting weathered quickly, mine still looks great after a few weeks. There were also reviews on hard assembly....um...not hard at all, did it myself while kids and husband played outside with the dog. Did take about 30 minutes since I screwed in the handle part wrong the first time, just take it easy on the screws they do strip easily. You'll get what you pay for, the design is just painted, so don't expect a great copper look. Looking to get the waterproof cover that's recommended just so it lasts longer with all the rain we've beeen getting. It's perfect for our family!

I waited all summer and used my existing fire pit (rough shape) while looking for a good deal on one of these that not only looked nice but would be large enough. I really wanted one that was at least 36" wide but had a hard time finding one I liked in that range so I looked at others that were slightly smaller. Finally this one was priced right so I decided to go ahead and purchase one and I am very impressed with it. From spring until the end of fall I typically have a fire about once a week, sometimes only for an hour or so but usually for several hours at a time (sometimes all day). So far this has held up great and is exactly what I was looking for. I do not have a cover for it yet so Im sure it will rust up some over time (I dont use the screen but those absolutely will rust after the first use from the heat). One of my favorite features (yes it has a feature!) is the vented openings on the bottom. I didnt know it has these prior to purchasing it but it helps with airflow and makes starting the fire much easier and keeping a nice flame, as long as the ash is cleaned up before each use. Overall this was a great buy and I wish I would have found it earlier in the year.

I was able to put it together myself while my husband worked on more difficult projects. All the holes lined up perfectly for me, regardless of issues that other people had with misaligned holes. Also, based on previous reviews, I spray-painted the outside of the fire pit with Rustoleum High Heat Ultra spray paint (black) since the copper color was going to burn off anyway. I did not paint the inside of the fire pit or the bottom. After a few fires, the fire pit still looks brand new. Also, contrary to what other reviews said, the fires we had burned really hot and put out a lot of heat.

We got this for driveway distanced gatherings with friends and so far it's been great! We use one starter log and a couple regular logs and it last for 3-4 hours easily. The kids love it for toasting marshmallows and it gives off good light at night. It's a good size, seems to be holding up great, it sits outside, uncovered when not used. We live in So Cal so the air is dry and not a lot of rain so it hasn't rusted at all but I can't speak for anti rust capabilities since it hasn't been tested in those conditions for us.

Just assembled it, and it's about what I expected. It's a cheaper product, it's going to rust, but pretty tough to get around that unless you want to pay for stainless steel. A little bigger in person than I pictured. The whole thing assembles with a phillips screwdriver, so this isn't metal you're torking down nuts and bolts with wrenches on, like I said it's a cheap product. Still I see myself using it plenty, and as long as some rust or paint coming off isn't going to bother you it should be fine for at least a few years.

This is a really nice firepit for this price point....the bowl is huge!!!! and if you like this brass look it really looks authentic....cant speak to the durability of it since we only used it twice...we have covered it and stored it away for the winter...if it turns out to be crap ill come back and edit my review...im really hoping it holds up because it really is a nice piece!!

This was a father's day present and got used a lot in the summer and even fall. Overall we are very happy with it.It looks just like pictured and was all right to put together (one screw just didn't line up the way it was supposed to be, but I made it work).Pros- fair price- good size- has a cover- we like the lookCons- not as easy to clean out as I had hoped, because of metal pieces that are welded on the bottom (they have holes underneath and help to get air everywhere to aid the burning)- the cover is already very rusty (still works, but since we kept it out of the rain at all times we were hoping it would stay in better shape for longer)- the feet didn't line up perfectly and it was a tad wobbly (no problem for us since we just put it on dirt/earth)It was a good buy but there is certainly room for improvements.
