Decent quality alternative to vinyl
For many years I sought to find an alternative to the dreaded use of toxic vinyl within our home. These shower curtains fit the bill and we've bought a few of them over the years. Granted, they are not as clear to view through as the vinyl ones, but we are satisfied that they use a less toxic material. The old vinyl ones off-gas their odors in a most annoying way. And those gases...well...they just ain't all that good for you. So these are the logical solution. They are inexpensive as well. One drawback is that they don't come with metal grommets in the hanger holes, but we fix that with our own home grommet kit. All in all, we'll be buying them again as the older ones wear out. Just a safer/less impact type of product to keep in the home.

The transparent curtain makes the shower room seems much bigger and brighter!
The transparent curtain makes the shower room seems much bigger and brighter because it allows the light to come in.It covers the whole side (regular tube size) and the side won't move around compare to my old curtain which I always have to adjust it back n fourth to avoid the water going out, and it doesn't have the smell like my old curtain. The only complain I have is because it's very light, it kind of move around a lot, but it's not to the point that will bother me.

Surprisingly good!
In the past, I've preferred thicker, heavier shower curtains. But of course, those were big toxic off-gassers, so I would leave them outside for two weeks.Thought I'd try this out and have been surprised. No odor at all and just thick enough (though much thinner) so it doesn't get sucked toward the running water of the shower. No reenforced grommets though the top has a special double layer with some sort of reenforced mesh and after 3-4 months, no sign of tearing whatsoever. It's started to mold a little, but didn't expect it not too. Easy to clean so at this time, I'm probably going to stick with this type of curtain in the future.

Cheap and utilitarian
I get these all the time. My last apartment was really prone to mildew in the bathroom and no matter how mildew-resistent a shower liner claimed to be, they would all fall in the end. These did, too, but no faster than the more expensive ones and the low price meant that replacing them wasn't nearly as painful. Still using them in the new place. Would be nice if they had magnets at the bottom.

Didn't notice it til it was gone
I bought this shower curtain after my wife couldn't make it to the dollar store to buy another shower curtain. I liked what people were saying about the lack of odor in the reviews, but really liked the Ikea name. It's true, I never thought our old shower curtains smelled, but as soon as I used this for a few days, the difference is shocking. What's missing? The cheap shower curtains had tiny magnets sewn into the bottom of the curtain that helped the curtains attach to the bathtub. If they had this one tiny thing, I'd be all over this shower curtain.

Cheapening materials ...
I bought this as a replacement for one that had worn out. This used to have magnets at the bottom to keep it up against the bath tub, but it seems to no longer have this feature. There are better ones for the same money out there.
