Did what I wanted
Sometimes it can be problematic getting the right thing when ordering online. This had the required connectors to connect to a battery pack in toy remoted controlled digger which someone acquired free of charge (in both respects).. However, for some reason the positive and negative were swapped from what was needed - could have been the battery or the cable 'at fault', I point no finger. It was possible using a little gentle pressure to depress lugs that held the connectors inside the plastic surrounds and extract the wires to swap them around and got the battery fully charged without incident.Sad part was that I then found that there were other issues with the digger which is probably why it was given away.

Charges a 9.6v airsoft battery well
Charges my airsoft battery well. Doesn't get too warm and the indication light shows when it has cut off when it's fully charged.
