Multifaceted afforable entertaining bath toy
This is hands down one of the best bath toys I could buy. It is affordable, keeps my baby interested, and is helping him learn. With the suction cup on the back it does seem to stick best to the bottom of the tub when it falls off the tiled wall but it isn't a big deal. My son loves playing with it (we got it for him for his first birthday) and it continues to serve him well as he grows. He can watch the water flow onto the wheel or pour water to make it go faster. He can use the shapes to put them in the holes. It is just great in so many ways.Update: the suction cup kept getting stuck on the tub floor and my baby kept trying to pick it up. It is kind of hard to reach the suction cup when it is stuck on something so it ended up breaking off pretty early on. It just isn't the same without the suction cup. Someday I'll superglue it back on...but for now, it does make a solid plug for the bath.

possibly inadequate suction cup
My daughter does really enjoy this shape sorter at 15 months old. She's too young to really know shape sorting, but she likes picking up a shape and putting it "in" the spot where I point. My husband gave her a bath with this penguin first and said the suction cup was useless. He thought I should return it. Since my daughter still enjoyed playing with it outside of the bath (flat on the floor), I decided to keep it. Then I gave her a bath recently and brought the penguin and I had no trouble getting it to stick to the side of the tub (same place on the tub that my husband tried). Not sure the difference, but I wouldn't be surprised if other people have trouble with the suction cup working too.

Sticks well to bathtub
Bought for our granddaughter. It sticks to the side of the tub very well. She is learning shapes and we have fun playing with this and learning.

Poor suction; Flawed design; Cute but not recommended.
This toy has the potential to be really fun for babies, but it falls short for a couple reasons. First, and most important, the suction to the tub is very weak. If you want to put it in your bath, stuck to the inside wall of the tub, the suction isn’t strong enough to hold it in place. This causes great frustration for my 18 month old. Our tub is tall, so if I want to stick it to the tile, he would have to stand to use it, and he’s just not quite at the age of being able to comprehend that it needs to stay there. He wants it lower, so he pulls it off the tile. It does stick better to the tile than the tub, though. The second reason it disappoints is because, if my puts 2 shapes through, without first removing the first shape, the shapes kind of have a traffic jam at the opening and it’s difficult to remove them at that point. Being that this is for babies, the opening should be wider to prevent this from happening.Other than that, it’s cute. It might actually work better as a non-bath toy for us. However, I would not purchase this product again.

Nope
Great idea but it only works if the suction cups work and they don't. They are too shallow and just don't stick to any surface, and certainly not well enough to support the weight of the toy and keep it from falling off the edge of the tub/wall. Waste of money and it's too late to send it back now.

LOVE this for my 2 year old
LOVE this for my 2 year old. She has managed to misplace the triangle, but she mostly loves pouring water for the side things to spin

Didn’t stick on too well on our tub. I mean my child could not tear it off however it just slid to bottom of tub. Cute though?!
