My handling style makes side-mounted camera straps a pain. By installing this plate on the base of my camera I am able to relocate for my structure located and hold my camera more ergonomically without the straps getting in the way. The product comes with a tool making it easy to install and remove. The entire product is built from metal, so I have confidence in letting my strap system alone support my camera.

This anchor mount, designed for use with the strap, exhibits high-quality material and construction. I've used two of them on separate cameras and they fit and work well.It threads into the bottom of your camera with an Allen wrench. However, if you want to mount the camera on a tripod, the anchor has to be removed.

I needed another anchor mount to attach my camera strap to the bottom of a telephoto lens. The have an anchor on the bottom of the camera, but wanted to better support the weight of the lens, and not stress the camera, when I use it.I own plenty of Peak Design products (including the Slide Strap, Clutch Strap, Shell Camera Cover, and more) and they are always top quality. This anchor mount is no different. Simple, sleek, sturdy, and a good price. I am going to order another to have a backup.

Great just as I needed

Build quality is top notch. Little bit expensive IMO. Very limited use though.

Like pretty much everything by Peak Design. It is well made, well design and a bit over priced

Simple, compact, does its job. Just wish you were able to screw it on with some form of thumb screw, taking it on and off using the hex screw isn't particularly convenient.
