Leak resistant-YES!My 15 year old dog uses it when I’m gone and overnight. He no longer uses the bare floor or expensive carpet!

This waterproof pad can go in the washer AND the dryer. (Unlike the gray pad from this company, which was labeled as line dry only, as it is made differently.)When this bed pad came out of the package, it had NO odor, unlike another brand I had purchased. I prefer to purchase bedding that has the OKEO-TEX certification, which this one does.Nice choice of sizes (I purchased the twin size pad). I use these for 3 purposes:1) On a twin bed or a fold-up cot for when the GRANDKIDS stay overnight, for an extra layer of protection for my mattress 'just in case' of an accident, bloody nose, etc.2) To PROTECT A RECLINER that's used regularly for sleeping overnight. I think it would be disgusting to sleep directly on the recliner, as in a bed you wash the sheets regularly. Mostly this protects the recliner from a sweaty back.3) As a caregiver, this works great for positioning to "boost" a person up (two-person assist, one on each side; would work in a bed or recliner). Just grab the pad near the hips and shoulders on each side, and the sturdy pad makes it easy to boost the person where you want them.

I used these for my dog so she can use the bathroom when I'm sleeping or gone at work. I bought both the 28x36 and 32x36... Well actually bought the 28x36 twice but they sent me the bigger one by mistake so I kept it. Oddly enough, the little one does seem to hold a little more liquid than the larger one.I went through a phase when my dog was just peeing and peeing and I would see a spot of liquid that had soaked all the way to the floor, but I remembered that these aren't gonna magically absorb an unlimited amount of liquid. They're good for light/medium use, NOT necessarily heavy, gallons upon gallons use.Would recommend as a backup, like for the dog, but not the main use, like a bedwetter.

These are great, no urine leaks through. I use these in lieu of disposable plastic backed pads. I wash on warm and machine or air dry. They come out clean and don’t have a lingering urine odor. I use mine at home, camping or hotels.

I spilled a whole glass of water on this pad and it didn’t leak through. Works great!
