Product description Only External Use Suitable for Cats & Dogs Disinfectant & Antiseptic Fungistatic & Bactericidal Non-irritating & Non-toxic Rivanol belongs to organic dyes with antiseptic properties. The bactericidal action is provided by combination of the antiseptic with the nucleic acids of the microbial cells, disturbing thus their essential processes. It has no irritating action on tissues and does not disturb the phagocytosis Indications Antiseptic for external treatment of superficial incised wounds and operational wounds, ulcers of the skin, pyoderma, secondarily infected dermatoses, burns. Apply on the skin using a suitable cotton swab Contraindications The product is incompatible with sodium chloride (do not prepare solutions/dilutions with saline solution), zinc chloride, calcium chloride, ammonium chloride, salicylic acid, tannic acid, chloramine, iodine and silver salts Long lasting use of the product may cause delays in wound healing Do not use during pregnancy and lactation. Use is not recommended due to possible allergic reactions.
