Nickel, 40/40 (80mm) Pair of Orion TS007 3-Star Anti-Snap Euro Cylinder Lock Door Barrel

We've had several cases of door locks being "snapped" in my local area for car keys and cars being stolen, so changing my old, basic, locks was a no brainer. My old locks protruded 5mm beyond the lock making them easy to grip, and snap, so I ordered these to sit flush with the handle casings (5mm shorter on each side) and they work and look great. Nothing to grab so nothing to break. Each lock took about a minute to replace, and once I had figured out that the keys removed horizontally and not vertically everything was fine. I like having the same key for both locks and there are enough spares to have one safely buried outside, just in case. Having the locks now sitting flush with the casing it's immediately obvious that they can't be gripped or snapped so hopefully this will stop anyone from even trying and messing up my nice new locks, and possibly my door. What price peace of mind?
