Smaller than I thought for the inside, but still love it.

The carving on this is fairly nice, not perfect but nice enough most people won't notice where it doesn't align. It's big enough for tiny items that get easily lost like car keys, rings and flash drives, but not large enough for most wallets or anything other than a couple jewelry items like a watch and ring or keys.The padding inside is thin and basic felt, the inside of the lid could be smoothed out, but it's about the quality reasonable to expect at this price point.It's shipped in plastic inside a moderately thin cardboard box, so you'll have to rewrap it for gifting unless it's the gift box itself for another item - which would be pretty nice.

Cute little box. Great for gifting someone something, or as a small keep sake box.

Just be careful There is no magnetic system to hold the lid closed upside down. So be careful with that if you don’t want to be picking up all your small trinkets

The media could not be loaded.  I was so excited to receive this hand carved trinket box but was disappointed when I found it was so hard to close. So I got out some small tools to make it work. Both of the front edges on the box that meet when the box was closed had to be reduced and rounded off for the lid to close without catching. More wood had to come off of the bottom than the lid but once filed down, the lid now comes down without hitting edge of the box. If the manufacturer could check how well the box closes and fix it if it doesn’t, this would definitely be a 5-star item fit for a decor accessory or gift giving. The fine carving on the box is really lovely.
