TROIAREUKE A.G.T HYDRO ESSENCE, Deep Hydrating Gel Essence, Korean Skincare

I have tried many different skincare brands in the past, but none of them seemed to work for my dry skin. However, I finally found a product that worked perfectly for me, especially during the winter days when my skin tends to get dehydrated. I have to apply it a bit thicker than usual, but the next day my face looks smooth and feels great. Although the price is quite high, I have tried other brands, and this one is still the best. I keep coming back to it and would highly recommend it to others ❤️

Different from what I was expecting, especially the smell. However, it feels like it helps absorb other products even better and makes the skin very soft and plump. It is a little sticky, but I like that because it helps keep everything else that I put on top hold on to the skin.

After seeing various beauty influencers talk about the Troiareuke brand on YouTube in recent years, I was excited to try one of the products for myself. According to the label this is an essence, but in terms of consistency, it's much more like a serum. It's a clear, thick gel formula with a slippery, viscous texture. It leaves a pronounced sticky residue and after it dries down my skin feels somewhat tight. It has a fairly strong perfume-y aroma that's the result of a combination of artificial fragrance (perfume), natural botanical extracts (honeysuckle, rose, hibiscus, chamomile and jasmine) and the essential oil compound Linalool. While I'm not opposed to artificial fragrance in my skincare, this particular scent isn't a favorite. And it lingers. But fragrance aside, this stuff has actually done a nice job at improving the appearance of my skin. Not only does it contain a couple of proven moisturizers (glycerin and betaine) but, like all my favorite first essences, it has a host of fermented ingredients (including Galactomyces Ferment - the active ingredient in SK-II). On nights when I want an abbreviated routine, I use this in place of an essence, toner and serum. And now that the weather's turned warm, I sometimes even forgo my night cream. If you don't object to artificial fragrance, this is an effective multi-tasker.

I’ve been to wonderful Korea six times and think of it as a second home. As a regular traveler to Seoul and Daegu, I know the natural beauty and great skin that Koreans often possess. The department store cosmetics there are stunning and I have often brought back recommended products back home for my wife. Thus, we were intrigued by this Hydro Essence Moisturizer with the non-Korean sounding Troiareuke Acsen branding. Troiareuke does indeed have a signature store in the famous Myeondong shopping district of bustling, beautiful Seoul. Although many Korean cosmetics are chemical-oriented, this mask provides several pampering natural oils, too. It’s promoted as having five types of Hyaluronic Acid yet each is near the bottom of the ingredients hierarchy. This gel is heavily moisturizing and the slight tackiness typical of a gel fades quickly, leaving a gorgeous yet subtle glow.

I really love this on my dry, sensitive skin. I use it over Sonage Vitamin C serum. To me, it's not sticky or tacky at all. It just soaks in like I have nothing on my skin. It has a very slight scent, can't really figure out what it smells like, but it quickly goes away. I feel I need no other moisturizer with this. I may in the winter-time but not now.

This is a well-known Korean skin care line, and this is one of their personalization program products. I couldn't find a good description of what issues this particular product is targeted toward. It has a very pleasant sweet floral aroma. I love it, and it's very strong. If you are sensitive to strong scents this isn't for you, but I loved it. Its a clear serum gel type product, which absorbs really nicely and hydrates your skin and makes it look and feel healthy, without leaving any residues or visible layer. I love the product and highly recommend it. Very glad I gave it a try.

5/5 Rating This is a Korean based product and although I never been to Korea I like this product. I like the quantity that it comes in. The product is in gel form and is quite thick but after you rub it in thoroughly you will be very pleased. It works very well. To use the product is almost effortless as you can administer via a pump. I'm pretty happy with this and you will be too. It is an added change to your normal American process.
